But all that aside, it kinda sounds funny when you consider that this Ring has been in possession of these halfing like creatures, and they have been carrying and putting it on their fingers more than the actual creator and the true master of the one ring, tyrannical dark lord and big bad of the middle Earth himself.

Part of it os because the stories are easily merchandisable. Wands, chocolates, drinks, logos, etc. It was easy to make money off of it's content regardless of quality.
These two always do this whenever Terry mentions what he likes, his preferences make both of them realize that he is arguably the one with the worst taste for anything. It's like if two of them would argue about whether the original Star Wars trilogy was better or the prequels, Terry would show up and say he likes sequels, and make both of them question or judge his taste for saying that.

@Splicer-lb5xb There Is not a single thing in any harry potter book that was original. Literally everything was stolen from authors who wrote the same things into their books a decade prior that Terfling proceeded to steal and call her own writing.
