So as I clearly live in a vacuum I'd never heard the song until now, so thank you for the introduction to it! The original is certainly fab, but obviously the Pomp version kicks more sixty sixes than anything else ever could. Especially the amaze vocal arrangement/performance. And the mid-chorus1 bass fill. 😍😍

Both Sam Wilkes and Nick Campbell are on his level. Amazing bassists.
The thing I really like about his playing is the sense of smoothness. It's still crazy fast and often really interesting runs, but it stays in the groove as he does these unexpected and awesome things.
Nick's bass playing across all of these videos has been some of the filthiest, tastiest playing I've ever heard. Hats off to you, sir.

I love every bit of this, but have to call out Nick Campbell for some of the best bass playing ever.
Yes, indeed... Nick Campbell is now on my list of great bass players. The ease he exhibits is extraordinary. The tone is awesome, too. I started noticing his contribution on "Bulletproof" and his playing just keeps getting more interesting.
Oh, yeah. I had to go back for another listen to Bulletproof. That was some James Jamerson level playing.

Well shit man, thanks for pointing that out. I always get so transfixed on Nick Campbells' bass playing, I didn't notice. But listening again, man that was an epic outro of drums, rolling around the kit like epic thunder. Awesome!

It never fails, every time this song starts playing somewhere I think it's some new cover of Please Mr. Postman, then I have to readjust when I realize it's Feel it Still. I go on that roller coaster pretty much every time I hear the chorus.

I've been following them for a number of years..I'm an old B-3 guy..73..been around and seen it all..why, Van Halen and Petty used to open for me..no joke..Leonid and Friends..Pomplamoose...two of my real favorites..great players...soulful..precise..neat...clean and lots of attention to detail..all my requirements met in these two great acts...
