FYI, Kristin, I used egg shells baked in the oven and then put in my coffee, grinder and pulverized and I take a very small amount every morning in my collagen water. Good for calcium in your own body. It’s good for plants and animals and why not for us. It’s probably with calcium pills are made of anyway. Anyway, that’s what I do with my egg shells. If you do not want your cookies to stick to your pan you can put parchment paper on the pan or if you want to save money you can invest in a silicone baking mat to cover the bottom of your pan. It is super easy to wipe clean and saves you for most part from having to wash your pan afterwards. I am like you. The less dishes the better. Although I just used quite a few this evening making homemade blueberry muffins from scratch. I used my silicone cupcake molds for the first time this evening and love them. I use a little bit of butter to grease them instead of cooking spray or vegetable oil bc butter does not stain your silicone bakeware like the other sprays and oils most people usually use in metal pans. My nephew came over and devoured quite a few of the blueberry muffins. He says he wants to learn how to cook and bake by starting to watch me cook and bake. I learned the recipe from watching The hillbilly kitchen channel on UA-cam. They are really good. I used some very plump blueberries that someone gave me. I made several batches of the muffins. I used up 4 pints or more of blueberries while making them. I prefer fresh blueberries over frozen anytime.. The recipe I used of theirs was made some years ago so you will have to go back thru many videos on their subscription to find it. That channel is one of my favorite channels and also another great cooking channel is Rachel cooks with Love. I love this channel as well. I like that the recipes are very simple to follow and I love the way you make every recipe seem so simple and the way you make the viewers feel like they could sit down and have a conversation while you cook. You remind me of my Aunt. She always taught me how she would cook or bake certain things when she came by our place when she was visiting family here she always took time each time to teach me something new. Keep the recipes coming.
