Venice is a city on Florida's Gulf Coast. It's known for Venice Beach, with its offshore coral reef, and Caspersen Beach, where shark teeth are often found. Multi-use trails hug the Intracoastal Waterway in Venetian Waterway Park. Other green spaces include Centennial Park, with its interactive fountain, and the Monty Andrews Arboretum at West Blalock Park. Oscar Scherer State Park is home to Florida scrub jays.

Sharks abound at Venice Beach, no mansions but well hidden. Love the German Sheppard's lined up, my 93 yo father would enjoy watching this Leonard. The great thing about Venice is that is has a conscience, sky high conscience, with a Chinese twist...never ends

For this two-year Venetian, it's the cleanliness, the beach, the restaurants and just about everything except for Hurricane Ian. Still, I did get off a week from work because of it so six-of-one-half-a-dozen-the-other. I lived in NY and NJ for sixty years and necessity sent me to Massachusetts for 7 months and then Venice, Florida permanently and I couldn't have wished for a better end location.
