Really cool to see others also excited about 16. BTW the timely accessories were the dev team's answer to difficulty as they didn't want to change dmg numbers / health numbers apparently. They are mix and match basically to fit whatever the player likes / prefers to meet their own skill level. Personally going to probably see if the game is doable without healing potions in my playthrough, just to add a bit of extra difficulty, but that is just me tbh. There might be a remake thingy going on with an additional difficulty option after story completion, but idk tbh.
OK allright, WHY did they mess up the german translation SO MUCH ... I'm dying! I can't imagine the japanese original but the english is SO MUCH BETTER! The dialouges make so much more sense here. I hope you can switch the language in the game ... have to try it immediately! Also after playing the game for a few hours now I'm not missing anything lol. A game does not heve to ba open world. It seems like every game needs to be like that nowadays but I disagree, I rather have a good story over an open world that's just boring and useless. Eldenring is by far the best example how an open world could work while Zelda TotK is the exct opposite, they messed up big time, twice.
Hey there, just played the Demo and had to comment here immediately! This is the most mature FF ever, I kinda knew it was a bit darker from the trailers but this blew my mind! This was the absolute best I‘ve played in a while, no doubt! But I have ONE BIG QUESTION, does the rest of the game feel like this too or is it a complete different thing like it was with XV? I never thought this could happen but I really liked the combat system, it felt so effortless and even tho there’s a lot going on, it wasn‘t overwhelming like in 7 Remake. I guess the main game has more options but should be basically the same?! Right? This was the first FF I didn’t preorder / bought day one and I kinda regret it 😂
Fun fact: this is the first in the series in which they actually prioritized the writing and VA in English, and the Japanese version had to be localized based on that. As an FF14 player for years now, I knew that Naoki Yoshida and Creative Business Unit 3 would deliver, but I never expected them to deliver THIS hard.
If you enjoyed this you would love the second part of the demo where you get to experience a more in depth portion of the gameplay. I enjoy the combat but I’m actually looking forward to the story for once!
Barnabas is likely to go down as one of the better villains with one of the wackest names lol. There is just something about it that makes me think / feel the complete opposite of what he represents.

Balthier will always be the leading man. Umbasa.
Damn right!
This game will be great
Just a thing from the latest info on the game, they actually recommend having the voices in English because of lip syncing.
Yeah so apparently, it’s the first FF game where English is prioritised 🤓
I hear you, but not the game?
Yoshi P loves red herring. Are you sure that was clive at the end?
Eeeek!
Wow that was amazing
