New accessories for DJI Osmo Pocket are appearing daily on the Chinese marketplace, here's a little buying guide for tripod mounts, ND filters (neutral density), polarizers or CPL, even a combination ND filter with rotatable polarizer. In this video, I'm going through a bunch new accessories for the DJI Osmo Pocket found on Taobao.com the leading Chinese marketplace. These Osmo Pocket accessories should be available now on Aliexpress and soon on Amazon marketplace. Mixed in with some Osmo Pocket footage of sights in China although most of it is in 1080P except a couple of clips.

I just enable translation in Chrome and go to Taobao.com. However, I think that from outside China it defaults to world.taobao.com and not all products appear in the search. A Chinese proxy would probably help.
I put the vinyl sticker on mines. If you don't put it perfectly on the head and neck area it will have a hard time rotating and will get stuck.

Very nice, I really enjoyed the video. I love how so many of the accessories show a external mic mounted. Do you think Osmo is going to sell a few of those adapters when they finally come out? LOL. Keep the videos coming, subscribed.
Thank you. DJI just need to enable external audio in the Osmo Pocket firmware, the adapter is passive and pre-production units have already been seen and tested. So, YES 😎 Macro lens review coming up withing 48 hours!

I used my USB-C to audio that came with my phone and that works just as well and it was free lol
I think your Osmo Pocket is still recording using internal mics, the firmware for external audio has not been publicly released, unless you have a prototype version of course. Tap the external mic and the camera mics while recording to be sure which are active.

I did a short video with D-Cinelike that came with that update, check my channel. External audio doesn't work yet, no HDR ... but Pro Mode is now available on the Osmo Pocket without phone connection and autofocus improved somewhat. Don't forget to update the mobile app as well to get all the features (Story Mode was added).
Has anyone produced a true joystick to replace the OP mutually exclusive up-down or L-R attachment?

I bought a simple USB-C to audio patch lead, which allowed me to plug in an external Rode SmartLav+ and works perfectly. UPDATE: did NOT work!!! See below...
Then tap the Rode and the camera body to be sure which one is recording. According to other trys, it's still the internal mic, the current firmware doesn't support external audio yet. I tried with a lav mic and a Huawei USB-C audio adapter, no luck.
@@StirfriedGerman RATS! You are right. It still records with the internal mic! What a disappointment.

Does that usb/c type connector work to send video to phone wirelessly? I saw they have the bluetooth version but not sure if it will work? Thanks Dave
Hi Dave ! For wireless, you need the official DJI wifi module which works in Bluetooth or Wifi and connects to the bottom USB-C port of the Osmo Pocket. It allows connecting the Mimo app. An extension cable or that tripod mount that reroutes the USB-C + an extension (male to female USB-C) will work.

Hey, interessante Sachen, die du gefunden hast. Jede Woche gibt es etwas Neues auf Taobao oder JD zu entdecken. Schade, dass du die Sachen nicht bestellt und ausprobiert hast - ich verstehe es aber, es kostet Geld, und viele Sachen braucht man eher nicht auf Dauer. Der Adapter, der USB-C zur Seite leitet, und unten einen Tripod mount hat, ist interessant. Ich hab mir den gerade mal auf JD angeschaut, würde aber bis nach Chinese New Year dauern, bis er geliefert würde...
Ich bin von meiner Osmo Pocket total begeistert, und hatte sie jetzt schon auf zwei Reisen (Shanghai und Chongqing) dabei.

The city is pulverizing water to reduce air pollution, they also keep all major roads wet day and night when the air quality drops. Zhuhai is famous for good air quality (better than other places in China anyway), they're trying to maintain that reputation.

We’re still waiting for a working Mike adapter here in the UK. Is yours available over here anywhere do you know?I presume your hyperlapse was not done on the Osmo Pocket! The fastest you can timelapse is 2 seconds between exposures!
Hi, the adapter is not really the problem although the official one is not yet available. DJI have not enabled external sound in the latest firmware. Let's hope that drops soon after Spring Festival is over.. Correct, the timelapse was done in post.
StirfriedGerman Does that mean that the mike adapter your video showed from China doesn’t work either?
@@TheBeggFamily It's hard to know before DJI add the external sound functionality in a firmware upgrade. It's coming though, some UA-camrs had an Osmo Pocket with the official audio adapter and apparently a custom firmware allowing them to test external audio recording. Just hold off buying anything until the firmware is released.
