Rice paper Bow 🎀 | How to make a bow from Rice paper | Bow tutorial for cakes

So here's something else I wanted to try out of rice paper 🎀
I really didn't know how it'd turn out but tbh this started more of an experiment. If it didn't work I thought nah I'm not going to upload this 😆
But hey I thought it was perfect to go on any cake 😊
The measurements for the bow are all mentioned in the video. Including the cardboard holders I made to form the shape.
I used sugar flair baby blue for the bow colour.
I didn't let the bow dry completely. After around 6-7 hours while it was soft but it had formed the creases I wanted when I peeled it off.
The wire makes a good support if you want to insert it to a cake. If you're however doing this please cover the wire with a food safe tape. I inserted it into dummy so I didn't have to.

How long in advance can you make the bow and how to store

You can make it a week in advance. I’d store in a plastic airtight container.
