Exactly In each and every battery drain comparison video i have watched OnePlus beats samsung and as said samsung beats 16 pro max in battery drain test ig maybe it's due to the added gaming test, as per testing of A18 pro it's GPU is still not on par with last gen 8 gen 3 adreno 750 GPU not even close 8 gen 3 slightly draws more juice than A17 pro and A18 pro like 1.5-2W ish and the architectur if different 3nm vs 4nm so 20-30 mins diffence makes sense ig but as we all know we have higher resolution displays and faster charging Speeds

I think mrwhostheboss is faking his battery drain tests, because now 2 tech UA-cam channels have iphone getting the longest battery life when in his test the 24 ultra got the longest....
Many UA-camrs has done the test dude , in every video I saw iPhone winning in battery test .
When channels get as big as his the companies will not think twice about sponsoring. The results can be manipulated so easily so I take them very lightly. All I know is these batteries are lasting longer so the competition is good! I haven’t yet drained my 15 pro max in a day and I use my phone far too much!

This test is inaccurate. Mrwhostheboss did the test on all brand new phones whereas these youtubers are doing their test on old s24 u. He is using the same s24 u that he daily drives bcoz in all the phones above there is no sim installed. Only s24 u had sim card installed. Infact you can see in this video that s24 u has a customized theme that clearly shows this phone has been used before. Mrwhosetheboss being one of the biggest youtubers can easily afford to buy multiple brand new phones of same model for the test whereas these youtubers buy only one phone and do all their test on it.

And the total power consumption of the display (let alone the entire phone) is NOT going to come even close to these 20% more pixels. Not to mention the iPhone display is technically slightly bigger.

Samsung devices will show that they have signal even when they don’t, I don’t know why this is but you can look at other battery drain tests from other UA-camrs and see that’s the case as well.

I was confused because the 15 pro max beat the s24 ultra and when I watch on mrehostheboss the s24 ultra beat the 16 pro max and 15 pro max, I was like impossible, then I watched this one and was relaxed, I always watched others, and the 16 pro max beats the s24 on every test I watched

Well it depends on how you use it, which app you’re in and stuff. I think iPhone struggles with video content, but is a bit better in any other app.
The galaxy s24 ultra used in Mrwhosetheboss was new as he said in the video and that certainly makes a difference.

Something does not match this test, because in the previous test where the 16 Pro Max was not yet.... the 15 Pro Max lasted 11 hs 44min and the S24 ultra lasted: 10hs 44 min....and in this test, the 15 pro max lasted 11hs 1min and the S24 ultra lasted 10hs 32min and used the same applications, and I don't think it's because the use, because the UA-camrs with so many devices,don't even use them, they have their own personal device...so it seems a bit weird...and if we think it's because the 16 pro max is new, then it lasted less than the 15 pro max when it was new...

The Iphone 16 Pro Max ranking is dependent on which flagships are tested. The Honor Magic 6 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro both beat the Iphone 16 Pro Max pretty handily. Look at The Tech Chaps battery drain test.
Lover of tech has done the best battery drain tests he has been the most fair and he did a live stream so obviously there was no cuts no edits none of that . There are many reviews now showing the same results as his . Mr whose the boss must’ve done something to favor the ultra . And before you claim the ultra is 8 months old now there is no way you’re telling me its battery has gone downhill that bad in 8 months . Don’t use that as an excuse cause if anything it should be embarrassing a 1300 dollar device can’t keep its battery capacity a few months in . Also keep in mind the iPhone has a SMALLER battery than Samsung and pixel . There is no way this should even be possible in ANY of the videos but you see it happen over and over again . The pixel just does horrible . It has a bigger battery than Samsung AND Apple and still loses

In this video, it appears that the two iPhones have different screen resolutions. One has the default display resolution, while the other has a higher WQHD resolution. The WQHD resolution can drain the battery faster. The original default screen resolution for the S24 Ultra (FHD+ 2340 x 1080) offers improved visuals while maintaining moderate battery usage. I personally use this resolution on my S24 Ultra and experience extended battery life. After charging my phone overnight and unplugging it at 6 AM, I am able to use it until 8 PM without needing to recharge. My phone typically lasts approximately 13-14 hours of usage.

1) every pubg player on UA-cam reports about 19%-20% of battery drain in case of iphone 15pm , 16 pm as well as s24u but here this guy did 3 hrs of gaming @ 9% or 10% /h in case of iPhone but 13%/h in case of s24u.
2- tests where s24u didn't win , it was very close to 15pm. 2 min loss in case of phone buff's test. But here huge difference.
3- iphone's battery is always considered as rated where as s24u's is shown as typical. Here rated capacity of s24u is about 4850 mah.
Its not about loss or win its about fairness. I have always doubted his testing methods specially when it comes to battery drain due to gaming.
These test doesn't matter much but its fun to see how content creators work for the fan bases. This is itself creativity and commendable job 😂

Took my iphone 16 pro out today at 70% charge, took lots of photos, after 2 hours it died completely with 0% while my partner did the same on an s24 ultra and still had 57%😢

Its a nice looking phone but don't know why the battery died from 70% to 0% in 2 hours of taking photos and videos. The battery in settings said 56% battery used on the camera that day (for 2 hours use). That's really poor compared to my S24 ultra. I was using live photo mode and uploading to the cloud.

When they first came out with 100x optical zoom or whatever it is, I was like Damnnn..that's innovation but turns out, the zoom was shit quality. Apple came crawling behind with it's 5X optical and guess what....Samsung is now back to 5X optical. All the time Samsung been including liquid vapor cooling systems in their phones. Everyone keeps on saying that these UA-camrs are using a couple months old Samsung S24 ultra but you do realize if the battery life of these Samsung phones are that bad already that means the battery health on these phones are going to be horrendous and be a big problem after 2-3 years of use
apple has some things that are weird, it only operates at 80hz, resolution is 20% less, and is an year newer, so it definitely has many advantages, also don't blab about it being only 4700mah, because it still weighs more than oneplus 12 and charges 3.5x slower, the faster charging is itself a better option than a additional battery life of an hour.

He has been testing the S24 Ultra since its debut. Obviously, it would not be fair to compare a new iPhone to phones that have been used for seven straight months of testing. While this may be costly, I believe such test results simply can not be further from the truth, giving the new phones the advantage before the test even starts.

Well watching many battery drain test videos, in Mrwhosetheboss video I think he deliberately let the Samsung won the battery drain test I think that was a paid video for Samsung phone, I'm using Samsung and iPhone both the latest model from last year s23 ultra and iPhone 15 proMax. Iphone 15pm battery is much better than Samsung s23 ultra. Similarly iphone 16 pm is much better in battery than s24 ultra
Match all the display resolution to the same and then check it. keeping iphones at default resolution gives it an upper hand compared to other flagship.
