If I could come help ya smitty I would!! Just from the video ide say cut up the healthy tree all the way good 2" of solid hinge then cut the leaner they will fall together, I've done this with 4 or 5 trees at a time just move super slow keep your mind sharp and pick a bit of landscape and use your felling sites to keep em all going in the same spot. Otherwise it's one graceful thing to see when you doing it right! Love ya brother!! You got this!!!
Great video, always fun being with you. God Bless and Protect you and your Family. Thank you, God, for cleansing Jacob's body from all sickness and restoring him to perfect health. Let Jacob be an eternal witness to your Love and Kindness in our world.
Thanks for sharing Smitty. Does the tree that is bent over into the other one have any lean towards where you were standing if so fall that one and see if it will roll out of it. Or set them up and fall them together. Fast sharp saw. Looks like quite a bit of pressure on the lower tree barber chair if cut slow or bore cut. Love ya brother. 🌲❤🌲✊🪓
How is the antivibe? Looks like it would do a decent job. I am guessing a lot of the smoke is dust and oil. That one likes to trap it. Prayers for your boy.
Yes in deed, I can't do chainsaw noise anymore in my new house like I use to do 🤣👍 Great chainsaw live action 😉👍 Yep I had often to clean the air vent and the fan 👍😉 Have a great one mon ami Cheers 🍻😉👍
That 340 seems about the same as an XL 12 power wise. Do you think Homelite was thinking about using it as a replacement ? That way they wouldnt have to come up with a more modern saw with anti-vibe. Best wisher for you and your family.
I just aquired a xl12 it's flooding bad gas out of muffler and when I do get it to run it runs for a few revs up fine then the chain will act like it has a chain brake won't move at all and I can't even pull it by hand to move then cools and goes back to moving freely
Ah it's nice to run a quite saw every now and then
Agree

Its smooth cutting. Gets the job done kinda saw.
Hey smitty nice little saw! You gonna port that one or no? How is your boy doing
Porting for certain!
Solo builds some fine saws. If I am not mistaken, the 290, 340, and possibly 410 were all based on Solo models.

At this point Solo was building the saws and Homelite was more of a name. Hard to say

Your carb needs a good clean and rebuild. The needle valve is probably sticking.
