RoyalWithChedda Cheese Its all instrumental, kinda like bands like Tangerine Dream and Goblin. They score movies too. I think it’s perfect without vocals, it’s how it’s meant to be. I could see Ghost’s lead singer maybe doing a a collaboration with them on a track or Zombi remixing a a Ghost song. They toured together so it’s be cool to see them work together.
@@waltonstreet5740 while I agree that this is perfect as it is, some bands know how to use the lyrics not dominant but more like an instrument if that makes sense (for example some tracks by 'Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard', just because I just listened to them) - could fit.
This is the most guitar I've ever heard in a Zombi release (if at all?). It definitely gives it a whole other feel. Good or bad whether you like more synths or not. This feels much more rock n rolly than other Zombi releases. The drumming is lout and bold, which makes it a bit less 'soundtracky'. I welcome this addition, it's definitely an evolution of their sound.
New favorite band! I always check out bands that are associated with Maserati, and these guys do NOT fuck around. Good shit. Also does anyone know if there are ever any post rock shows in/ around Manhattan? I've never been and I'd like to meet some fellow weirdos
What?! yinz'r from the 'burgh? Git aht? I had no idea. Keep up the great work and thank you for your service. Great music. Cheers from a yinzer in the Netherlands....
This is the only version of 2020 I like lol The wait was worth it, this is an awesome album. It crashes in hard and lays down mellow and trippy vibes at the same time. Love it. Fav tracks are XYZT, Earthscraper and Thoughtforms, but I love them all to be honest. Def a different but familiar side of Zombi that I’m glad they explored. It feels like a lost album from another time/place. 🎹🎸🥁
Thats a killer, really like thats 'heavier' and with a darker twist compared to 'shapeshift' - which was also a great album in its own right. Same them live with Ghost years back, was absolutely impressed how they pulled it off!

I expected metal but got something just as saucy, thanks relapse lov u guys
Better than I expected and what a great sounding EP they have released!
Synthwave with a metal vibe - love it.
Don't know why but, this album, sounds to me as a game soundtrack; something like a DOOM 2 WAD.
Still alive in 2020 that game; still playing it.
BRUTAL DOOM best mod
@@strictlydiesel8305 ever.
That's literally what it is. Good work, Detective!

Love Zombi love Relapse just didn't think I'd ever mention them together. This album is a slayer btw!
Wasn't their last album already released on relapse? And their synthy/guitar-players other project 'Miracle' as well?

production sucks... those drums, yikes.
😂 sure, ok. production is great.
I disagree sir/mam/whoever
Yeah, I hear it. A little quiet, lacking a bit of bass, and it sounds a bit like he's playing inside a funnel. Maybe they were going for that? Idk
@@DrJuice1 they are all about a late 70's sound, so I would like to assume so, given the bands talent.
I found the vinyl to be waaay better - I think they overcompressed the digital release unfortunately!
