The last comic reminded me that Madoka predates X and Y (predates Black 2 and White 2 in fact) which feels absolutely bizarre. Odd given I actually got into Madoka in spring 2015 so not that long after the show came out- I definitely saw that very comic when I was super into Madoka back when X and Y were still recent- but the fact that Pokemon has had 3 whole generations since then while Madoka has had a movie and a mobile game with an anime adaptation (also some spinoff games and like 6 spinoff comics) makes the latter feel way longer ago.
