    I was shocked to read about Chad’s fatal climbing accident. I attended his wife’s funeral in 2007. Such a sad tragedy. My heart goes out to his Mother and to both of their families. RIP Chad. You were a highly respected PNW climber.

      He died after being struck on the head by a falling rock while descending the Patagonian peak Fitz Roy

    Why dont you just have blood transfusions or take EPO to increase your white blood cell count

      you got it wrong, it is red blood cell count that is increased

      His advice is for speed climbing not general summit climbing, also - he was killed by a falling rock which is almost entirely out of his control and one of the dangers that you just have to accept if you choose to mountaineer.
