- Anhueser Busch commercial aired during super bowl Feb. 2005. I had the HONOR of acting in this commercial along with active duty Marines and Air Force Military Personnel. I am the one wearing eye glasses and I shake the hand of an airport employee.
This shouldn't be a commercial - it should be a reality every time you see them.

Reminds me of the Pease Greeters in New Hampshire. Our plane flew in on Christmas Eve from Iraq in 2003, and the entire airport was full of people there to greet us (dogs too). I totally understood in that moment that feeling that rock stars or actors feel when a huge crowd of people are happy to see you. I felt uplifted at that moment, and still get that feeling when I think about it.
As a female veteran and wife of retired 25 years naval officer, this warms the heart. I wish we could go back to pride in our connection not division!! This was 4 years post 9/11 and the deployments came fast and were long..over a year at a time..now we have a country full of hate of police and government and such entitled people ..let's hope we don't get another tragedy to wake us up, GOD BLESS AMERICA...WE NEED TO REMEMBER WE ARE THE GREATEST NATION 🙏🏻 ❤...

I was in Iraq when this particular commercial hit the media. It kicked my ass then and it still does now. Even when I was on R&R for 2 weeks and going through DFW airport, I still got "lost" in things like the smells of conditioned air, a restaurant burning burgers, etc. I thought nothing about sitting next to a woman in a business suit and started getting "wound up" over the smells of perfume and shampoo and some makeup.

I wish it would have been a more welcoming reception for you. Thankfully more people are recognizing the sacrifices and service you Vietnam Vets have given, and are more aware and understanding. My eldest Brother is a Vietnam Vet as well as many of my Uncles & Cousins. We are a Military Service Family & Darn Proud of it! Welcome Home!

This was amazing, it really did bring tears to my eyes.I just want to thank you and every other member of the Armed Forces for protecting us in a time of war and doing your duty. Hopefully, Ill be doing the same soon, in about 5 years if I get into USNA or USCGA or after I graduate college. I salute you!
so cool. a while ago these soldiers got off the plane and were walking through the airport just like that and we did the exactr same thing, clapped like heck! its like a memory caught on tape, cool.
