Cuz you can crack the cymbal if it's not able to absorb the force. For instance if I hit you once it's not gonna matter but if I keep hitting you over and over again eventually you're gonna take damage :)

Lol, yeah. Except the "drum set" didn't exists until the 1920s/30s, it was made because there was a band in new orleans where the bass drum player didn't show up so the snare player had to rig up a system to be able to play the bass with his foot. True story. The first drum set was a 2 piece.

I absolutely couldn't help but jump on my set and play this song! I'm starting to get more comfortable playing in front of a camera. I use my phone for the music and I know that's not what professional drummers like Casey use. I'm still learning. Anybody have advice for when to start recording and starting the music. I believe it's having your laptop aside and having a long pair of earbuds or headphones on you and pressing play while someone starts the recording. I'm working on doing both.
