British English is best
Simple, learning American English is more accessible and useful and it's quite easy to understand unlike British English which is so-called "fancier and more formal" but I'd disagree with that thanks to the fact that the British don't emphasize the R sound which is crucial to understand key words and whole ideas that contain the letter R at the end of a word or when it's between two vowels and it's got to be pronounced, something that Americans do all the time and that's why the American accent is more understandable and much clearer and it's the most commonly used accent of English worldwide.
I don't think so, I speak Portuguese and, for me, British English has an easier pronunciation to learn
More people around the World use British English not YANK.
I'm flying across the pond to polish my English.

Simple. They speak American, we speak English.
And we speak it properly!
