- Here's 15 Small Details in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales... Much like the previous game that released back in 2018 this game nothing short of awesome, from the story to the gameplay to the details, seriously cannot wait for the Spider-Man 2!
If you are familiar with the first Spider-Man game then you'll know that'll many of the details seen here were also implemented back then but for the sake of showcasing the details in this game specifically I decided to include some of my reoccurring favourites, hope you enjoy!

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games in this latest adventure within the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man.
But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it.

The NPC’s playing sports, break dancing,making snow angels and ice skating is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen 👏🏽
In this game yhea. Is really amazing. But I thinks in Wach dogs 2 NPCS do activities too. The thing that differences a good IA of a bad IA, is the interaction and reaction with you and the environment. For example Read dead redemption 2 is insane the IA. I think the best I ve seen in a game, (no counting Alien Isolation becusde it was a one IA, no too many NPCs in a open world). So this Game has NPCs, but they only react when you crush with them, or you are in their cars. I don't know how to explain it.

I was swinging around and just recently changed my suit when out of nowhere a random civilian npc said “why is he always changing his suit” 😂
I could be wrong but I believe that they'd probably say that in general since Miles is a new spiderman without much media following, so they might think Peter keeps changing suits and it's now the black and red one miles has.
@@spartacussmith7070 It's very clear that everyone knows there is a new spider-man, many even commenting on how miles is smaller. They are likely referring to you changing suits rather than mistaking you for Peter in a different outfit.

I love how they gave Miles his own personality when swinging, he's not just a reskinned Peter, he's having the time of his life, he acts like how you'd expect a teenager to act if they got Spider-Man Powers.

I’ve also noticed that Miles isn’t as steady when landing as Peter is, for example on stealth missions, when he web zips and perches on something, you see him wobble a bit. I just think it’s a cool bit of attention to detail that shows how Miles is still inexperienced

My favorite read in the whole game is when Miles does a stealth takedown and whispers “Another win for Spider-Man!” to himself. It’s SO endearing

3:47 this melted my heart, I remember throughout progressing parts of the story you could check on her at FEAST and to think Gloria started off as a homeless person then managed to get back up on her feet and get a job at a cafe. It’s great knowing how far she’s come even if she is fictional.
Enemies were webbed to walls when they fell in the first Spider-Man game, as well.
There are a few things on this list that were part of the 1st game. Insomniac always delivers and improves, can't wait for Spider-Man 2 and their Wolverine game.

His movements felt better to control, more fluid I would say. Also no fillers like the MJ and Miles missions from the first game. More heroic ending. Cooler finishers too.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is truly a great game. It takes from the previous game, which was already great and this game improves upon in greatly. The new powers introduced with Miles are really fun to use and are visually stunning.
The graphics and controls are amazing and shows us what the PS5 can do.
The story could’ve been better, but what we got was truly a good story for Miles and the other characters.
The characters seems real and likable.
When Miles swings through the streets of NYC, it looks amazing and you can tell how he’s inexperienced and still in his learning stages.
And lastly, when he leaps off of buildings and does sweet moves, he is so full of the exaggerated swagger of a black teenager.

A funny detail I noticed was how an npc responds to you if you ignore them. If a person on the street is saying something to you, just keep jogging away from them and they notice you aren't paying attention and get a little upset or disappointed.
11:17 is also a detail how the pedestrians can recognize that he keeps changing costumes lol so cool never would've noticed that, kinda like a 4th wall break.

Interesting story. Amazing gameplay. Fun swinging mechanics. Lots of details. Outstanding graphics. A game that was clearly made with heart, passion and respect not only for the Spider-Man character but for the previous Spider-Man games. I want more games like these.

I know it's a tribute to Stan Lee, but in the context of the game they really just erected a gigantic statue of a Restaurant owner.
Miles itself is too erected. Dude is in everything Spider-Man now. They could've done a spider-man and spider-woman (Gwen) with this version instead of miles "Peter Parker" morales 🙄. @knightghost 17 Dude a Gwen Spider-Woman game would be awesome. I kind of getting tired of the different Spider-Man games and movies. There is way too much. Miles is the first change they did which was basically just changing the character besides another Peter Parker. I have a feeling Spider-Woman would be their next game. If it's not then bruhhh I'm not playing another Spider-Man after Spider-Man 1, 2, 3, Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2, and both of Insomniac's latests. That's 7 Spider-Man games, dawg. Let's explore Spider-Woman now.
What about when Miles and Rhino were fighting and Miles mentioned a "wild goose"? That was a call back from the first game
Another amazing detail, that should not go unnoticed is, that Miles' moves are not quite as refined as Peter's due to their 7 year gap of experience (Peter has been doing the whole Spider-Man thing for 8 years, when you play him, while Miles has been getting used to it for around a year by the time you play as him). This results in a few little tumbles at the peaks of his swings, momentary balance loss when perching and some rather ungraceful landings out of a couple of the takedowns.

It's kind of amazing how many little details developers will add to a game that a majority of players will completely overlook. The social media feed, for example, isn't something a lot of players will actively or regularly check out for changes.

One: the way miles is about to fall after zipping to places showing his inexperience
Two: the way cars bend depending on where you land on the car
I also noticed, that if you are in the story mode and you need to hurry somewhere, they tell you different things depending of how late you are. In that one mission where you had to meet Phin to open the time capsule, she will say that she "almost left" if you were late. If you were early she would say something like, "oh hey, you came!" Or smthing like that, go try it by yourself!

When we miles is fighting alongside others, ie Tinkerer and Prowler, there are special finishers that are performed by both miles and his fighting partner. There's also a suit (Prog. Matter suit) that has 2 exclusive finishers.

When you webswing very low you can hear the citizen being surprised seeing Spider-Man swing past them (Sometimes even take pictures and you see a random post on the social feed with a picture of Miles Swinging)
My favourite miles outfit is the one from the movie . The black one with big eyes (into the spider-verse)
