- So last week saw the release of Spider Man Miles Morales on both PS4 and PS5, and to absolutely no ones surprise, Insomniac games have once again created a fantastic Spider-Man game.

I’m afraid that is one of my gaps in Spider-Man knowledge. He was a punk rocker who gained spider abilities in alternative Marvel Universe. That is the extent of my knowledge. I always knew him as the Prowler in the 60’s!🤷♂️

I have an issue of a book from the series (I know, there was actually a series!) It is with Raven the Hunter (I left the K out purposefully, in this comic, Kravens a bird). I got it in the dollar bin at a local comic shop. Trying to get rid of it, since it really isn't all that great. lol.
You missed one, Spider-Woman could mean as a reference to Jessica Drew.

There are like 3 Spider-Women that people know of. You got Jessica Drew, you have the girl who wears a Spider-Woman suit similar to the black suit(I want to say Anya or Anastasia is her name), and you have Gwen Stacy. 4 if you count Silk/Cindy Moon. We could probably even count the one that's a female clone of Peter from Miles' universe. Its pretty vague so we can't say its one version or the other, definitively.

The Freddy and Jason Egg is probably accurate, seeing as the next name up in yellow is "Christopher L.". Horror and Hammer fans would automatically think Christopher Lee from those films.

When you get the trophy at Stan Lee's Statue, it says "best fries in town". The only reference I could think of is in 2018 Spiderman when he and MJ sat in a fast food restaurant eating fries. But I could be wrong.

It’s because his character in the 2018 Spider-Man game ran that restaurant that Peter and MJ were eating at.
There's also a reference to John Jameson, JJJ's son on the social media feed in the menu of the game. One of the handles is "JamesonInSpace" a nod to John's profession as an astronaut and it comments about seeing NYC from space.
I noticed the reference because of Spider-Man 2.

Super rare Easter egg referencing the clone saga
You missed that when Ganky and Miles are designing his suite that purple one is a reference to another spider man from the comics.

In one of the boats, you can find a very low poly character with a sticky note that says, “Did you miss me”, which is referencing 2018’s Spider-Man because at launch, players were able to land on boats that featured very low poly characters but those characters were update to be more detailed in future patches
That is in the remaster of Spiderman, not in Miles Morales.
In the side mission "Missing Cat" miles says "missing cat huh? ok now you're talking my language!" which is a reference to a line Charlie says in Its Always Sunny in Philidelphia. He says it in a similar tone of voice too
1:51 this is probably because Miles lives in an alternate universe to the other spider-based heroes
In Miles’ universe, the PlayStation controllers have lettered buttons instead of shapes/symbols

@@CaptainEggcellent Yo. Captain. I found a very small detail that might interest you. On the new mortal kombat DLC which have Rambo characters. If you win as a rambo (without fatality or brutality) when he does that "Mission Accomplished" scene and then put the knife beside the opponents head. You can see every character face when he did that is opening their mouth of shock. But not the Terminator, Terminator's face shows that he is ready to face the death and even clenching his teeth instead of open his mouth like the other characters. And you can see his eyes after Rambo put the knife. His eyes doesn't as widely as the other characters. Please read this Captain. Sorry if I send it again. Because I really want you to see it. It's a really small and nice detail that MIGHT go unnoticed. So I want you to reveal it. Please read this Captain🥺
@@FunkyFreshYT I know you probably haven't got too far into AC Valhalla. Just found a "The Prodigy" Easter egg in Essexe at the Agnitum Tower. In Suthsexe at Forris Turre there is a DnD easter egg. Lunden has a Harry Potter easter egg. It is in a locked house.

Well I'm surprised there hasn't been anything found with the yellow drawings in the vents breaking into roxxon. Least I'm pretty sure its when you break into roxxon multiple branching paths in the vents and one has a square with some markings on it I couldn't make sense of

There’s also the Easter egg where you can play as Peter in the white spider suit but for some reason he’s missing his chin. Also if you hang around miles apartment long enough you start to get mail for abuela through the door. The attention to detail in this game is insane.
I love how there are technically 3 Spidermans in this game. Miles, Peter and the cat. I'm including the cat because he wears a Spiderman mask, is named Spiderman, and fights alongside you.
I agree that is an Easter egg referencing Freddy and Jason. Also because in Friday the 13th part 8; Jason does go to New York. Why it would reference Freddy Krueger I'm not sure. Maybe because there was a UA-cam video of a cosplay dressed as him on a subway train in New York. Maybe the cosplayer is associated with someone from insomniac somehow and it was a shout out to the cosplayer. All I got as a possibility.

8:43 was hoping to see a dedicated message for Chadwick Boseman. So stoked they added one in the game. What would have been cool would have been a gravestone next to Miles' dad with his name.
Go to 42nd st 3rd Ave. They named a street after Chadwick Boseman in the game called Boseman Way..

When you walk up to the Stan Lee statue the car you walk by has “PNTR 655” on the license plate.

Fun Fact : The "How To Clean Carpet Stains" One Is A Reference Of A "HowToBasic" Video,With The Same Title.
Ironically by the time I saw Spider-Man the Cat in this video, my own kitty's in my room with me, lol.
The handshake thing can be a reference to Into the Spider-Verse, but some times it is a reference to Big Hero 6 because I've had a couple say "Balalala" like Baymax had.
There is an interesting Animation when you hit the ground with the "Into the Spiderverse" outfit equipped.
After you complete the first combat mission and defeat the criminals, holo pete says “critical error AF-15” which stands for Amazing Fantasy comic 15, that is the first comic to mention spider man

Not necessarily an Easter egg but when you use the Spider verse suit mod, when light reflects off the suit it has Ben Day Dots, (or Halftone dots, I forget which) emulating that comic book art style that the movie pulled off so well.
The last one easter egg of that suit is that you get the comic combat or whatever you can see the quotes above the peoples head you attack.

i don’t know if you’ve already covered this one but in the first game Pete says something about a dream of him having 6 arms, now in the second game some random civilian says to Miles something like “i thought you have 6 arms” which i think is a cool reference to the 90s cartoon spider-man
J. Jonah Jameson quotes on the spider punk suit in the first game after peter is supposed to get his "new suit" after the slow motion cutscene
you can have multiple conversations with genke when he is on the after he spills the sauce and he is on the computer
In the apartment, you can find a copy of Amazing Fantasy comic which is the first comic to feature Spider-Man where he was first seen as a bad idea, funnily that ended up making a lot of sales tho

So it’s cool that they made something for Stan lee, I studied and had a good talk with him when he went to my high school (he studied there) and somewhere online there’s a video of us saying what Stan lee and a mural ,made in school of him, meant to us. Really awesome guy and I’ll appreciate when he bought me that snicker from across the street
In the roxxon lab after being kidnapped by rhino. In the first reaserch room you find computers with a bunch of info on em. Including that tombstone, black cat and someone else are among many roxxon contract agents
Spider-Ham(The original name for Spider-Pig) first appeared in 1983. So, The Simpsons was referencing the comic.
I don't know if this counts as a reference to Into the Spider-Verse but when you are doing the second traversal challenge, when you jump off the building at the start, sometimes Pete says that it all begins with a Leap Of Faith
Holo spiderman on one of the holo challenges says its a leap of faith
If you missed this when Miles is saving the girl on the bridge there is a bagel coming out of the truck I think it’s a reference to into the spider verse when Miles throws the bagel
In the game if u go to the side of the oscorp building and scan there’s a vent and turns yellow so it could mean that there’s gonna be a future DLC wit oscorp

When I heard spider-pig I thought of Peter Porker from into the spider verse
at the cemetery I always parkour over the graves and I found an exploit where instead of the game forcing you to walk within a certain range of miles’ dads’ grave, and I parkour - d over his grave and then for some reason got the trophy “never give up” and I then realised how long it took me to do that and I never gave up trying to parkour over his dad’s grave, so win lose (win because I got to do what I desired and lose because I’m disrespecting the grave)
Here's an easter egg for this game!
When you're doing a stealth mission and successfully web up someone, Miles will say "Better watch out for those spiders, man." Spiders-man is a reference to an alternate universe spider-man.
"Peter Parker was once a promising young student, invited by Max Modell alongside his best friend, Gwen Stacy, to tour his bleeding-edge company at Horizon Labs. One of the experiments the pair observed was a massive colony of spiders Modell was bombarding with numerous radioactive particles in the name of genetic alteration. In the game if you hold certain buttons I forgot which ones but Miles can do the leap of fate that he does in the Spider-Verse movie.
