I am pretty sure we do.
Some of the barbers we have here in Los angeles range from late at night cuts and appointment only in quiet areas.
You just need to find them, I have a few that definitely ask at every point in the haircut how I want ir and also recommendations and what would work.
But not all are the same, I have gotten some cuts with the person giving me uneven tapers on each side of my head to some lady trying to lining up my hair line with a pair of oster 76 ans a comb.

The fabulous sound from those scissors is THE perfect cure for insomnia...
You definitely get your money's worth when a barber cuts your hair at this speed, instead of the usual rushed cuts...

I actually really liked the apprentice working. I don’t know why, but I just enjoy it more when I know someone is working so intently/carefully.
Probably because when you focus on your work and be careful and percise, you do better and you greatly reduce the chance of an accident

the trainee did a good job, considering the camera was recording, his teacher on behind him. I remember watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain where he went to a barbershop in Cuba 🇨🇺 and had a shave, the barber was so nervous and shaky coz of the camera and nicked Anthony Bourdain like crazy lol 😆. I’m sure there’s a clip of that on UA-cam

I love how whenever he touches the ear buds, it's not super loud. It doesn't blast your ears. On the hot towel part, it sounded as if I was actually there.

Your recording does not sound unnatural like the other ones. It has the same pointing clarity, but does not sound like some DOLBY downmix. It sounds more like real listening.
