- Love (Star had first a relationship with Tom, Tom couldn't let her go and thought up all things to get her back.) Star met Marco,
Star explores that she is in love with him, but doesn't want to break the relationship between Marco and Jackie, etc.)

- Friendship, how far are you willing to let friendship go first? (Star destroyed her wand for Marco)

Sincerely I always knew that there were feelings in them that went beyond a friendship. I waited for this for four years, at the moment when this happened I shouted and literally cried ... I'm still crying in fact. no, I still can not believe it, I'm still in shock, and this melody ... it's just beautiful, it's like a testament in the form of music of everything that star and marco have gone through in their friendship, and that have finally accepted their feelings I think makes a lot of the fandom happy. What is a cliche? What is too forced? pfff, watch the series from start to finish. the way one looked at the other, the affection they showed, how they cared for each other, there was obviously something else. we have seen how their relationship has advanced, as it has gone through ups and downs, the best and worst moments, we have felt the frustration of believing that there was no more hope for us ... for them ... but here we are, four years after that beautiful dance, being sure that what they felt was completely real and genuine, they were not influenced by any curse or something, it was always real ... listen to this song, without needing words, it conveys that feeling of nostalgia, so cute but so ugly at the same time, to think that we are going to an episode of this trip coming to an end ... neither more nor less. and going back to the same thing, think about what these two went through, I mean, when they met for the first time, when they fought together for the first time, when in the first episode, star embraced Marco, that moment, which we all now find out that was the first time that Marco felt at least a little attraction for her, maybe a little thought of "this girl is amazing, I really like her", but there was already a feeling in between. When star went to the blood moon ball, and Marco went to her rescue, and probably the episode where Marco felt that the Princess Butterfly was out of reach for the phrase that we all already know. when star recognized his feelings in the second season, but she hid them because she saw Marco too happy with Jackie, until finally she decides to confess him in an opportunity she had before leaving the earth. when Marco went to look for her during "the battle for mewni", that beautiful reunion made me cry, and what about when after all that marco had to return to his dimension ?. Shortly after, he realized that he needed to see his best friend again, so he returns, meeting a very cold and distant star with him, but then everything goes back to normal, when star converts marco into her real squire. While they were at the lava lake beach, Marco accepted his feelings for his princess. When the photo booth happened, with all those truths they needed to hear about how different everything felt between them, and that kiss that moved most fans. when finally both, in a stable of pigoats (lol), they said to each other their true feelings and the starco once and for all made it real ... simply beautiful ... no doubt they both show what is the true love and that comes with who you least expect it. I will miss this show too, honestly part of me will go with it. Until always, star ... 💫

Yeah, but what if the Blood Moon is actually a curse? I mean, it binds beings' souls together even with a possibility they wouldn't want that. Not to mention every time it showed up, it seemed more ominous then anything imo. I'd be more worried about the Blood Moon since we don't even have much information on it besides that it binds souls together, which isn't exactly the best if there were two beings that just happened to be under it. I'm definitely staying more wary of it until we get more information on it.

This is your daily reminder that SvtFoE is, first and foremost, a lovestory and literally all other features of the show are auxiliary to that.
Being mad at Starco is like watching a romance movie and being mad that the couple gets together, and being mad that the last 2 seasons are about bringing them together is like being mad that the plot of the romance movie is about bringing the couple together.
This isn’t a fantasy action series. It’s a lovestory that features fantasy action.

Meh. They should've sorted out their issues and gotten together in s3 in a sort of mid season finale, then spend the rest of the series focused on plot. S2 was perfect because it had a good plot AND romance. S3 was okay... but the romance plot line sucked in it. S4 was the worst because not only did the romance suck, but so did the main plot.
@@HammedBeans eh I think it would’ve been kinda weird if they got together in Monster Bash of all episodes. That was the mid-S3 finale. If they were going to get together around that time, I would have rather just lopped off the whole back-with-Tom arc and had Marco return to a still-single-and-willing Star with a clear head in Lint Catcher (which would obviously have had a very different title and plot in this AU).
I do always feel bad for S3-4 Marco. He was oblivious and fumbled big time in S2, but I thought the punishment outweighed the crime. Star spent 1 1/2 seasons watching Marco *pine* for Jackie, but only had to watch them actually be together for 1/2 season. Marco on the other hand had to watch Star cuddle, kiss, and hold hands with Tom constantly for 1 1/2 seasons. That’s hell. Especially knowing she was all his until like 10 minutes before he got back.

The only show where I had genuine reactions as I watched. It may not be for everyone, but I’m a fan of it. Just watching a clip of the show gets me excited and I start to cry; I felt joy watching this show, and I never want to rewatch it in fear of it getting boring for me.

I love how Marco called the curse fake and that his feelings have been there from the start
The feeling I get from this is incredibly unique. The entire ost is a complete masterpiece. I just can't explain all the unique and specialized features that go into it. The melodies I haven't done much research on, but each is, at a glance, expertly crafted to perfectly enhance the tone of the story. What really impresses me at a glance though is how the more acoustic sounding instruments are blended so brilliantly with the clearly synthesized ones. The synths give just such a deep accent to the music that makes it a real game changer. This particular track has my completely mesmerized, though. Every time the vocalizations come in it feels like time stops entirely. The whole song gives me a feeling like I'm in a surreal world that consists of nothing but rooms with ornate everything. Wildly and impossibly decorative stonework on every surface of every wall, and thick, intricate red carpets and curtains everywhere you look. It's hard to explain how music makes you feel, but scenery is often how my feelings in relation to music manifest themselves, especially when a song is so perfectly crafted as this one.
This is everything I've wanted to say about this song and more. It's really beautiful. Something about it just makes me feel strange, but in a good way. Like something important and extraordinary is happening. It's beautiful.

I find it so dumb how people say the relationship is fOrcEd or that the writers just threw it in there at the end. Because they really didn’t.. they literally led up this plot from the beginning when this dance first happened mainly. And they developed their feelings towards eachother after realising what life would be without one another and how much they really mean to eachother. It’s honestly one of the greatest ship set ups I have ever seen, nobody can ever convince otherwise

I think people think the ship is « rushed », rather than « forced », (because it’s really isn’t), and even if i love the ship with all my heart i am agree than he could have been better handle in the final season, i also think they should have been together in season 3 already but well it’s all productor’s fault and at least it is canon, it could have been worst.
Still one of the best couples/ship in any cartoon.

was this 3 years ago 😭😭 i still remember waiting for new episodes impatiently and loving this song so much, obsessing over starco and the whole show. i'm literally sobbing because this makes me feel things i haven't felt in a long time
Honestly the scene from “Curse of the Blood Moon” might be the best scene in the entire show. Everything clicks, the few jokes hit, the soundtrack by Brian H Kim slaps as usual, they callback to previous seasons, the chemistry between Star and Marco while they dance flawlessly, and then the incredible pain when both of them realize they do want to have feelings for each other, and finally the visual pain in Star’s expression when she asks “What if it was never the Blood Moon?” as they both probably know they won’t remember that conversation, just as Tom said.
For the many flaws of Season 4, this scene was a masterpiece, and I could make a strong case for it being the best in the show.
This melody is very nostalgic, while it is romantic, dramatic, and in some places it becomes mysterious. I just love this piece of music.
No mater where you stand in the fandom, the music in this show is by far the best thing
