There is a safer way of getting out of someone close guard. This is very risky technique and depending on the opponent can be fatal. A experienced jiu jitsu guy is going to finish that triangle always have two hands in or two hands out!!

This technique is introductory at many schools because it highlights many different and individual movements and mechanics that can be used in a variety of situations. The ah-ha moment occurs when you are able to isolate specific movements within a technique for other purposes.
