- Namaste, to perform Veerabhadrasana, stand straight, Inhaling, Jump and place the legs about 4 ft part. Hands parallel to ground. Exhaling, turn left foot 90 degrees & right foot about 15 degree. Inhaling, bend the left knee, Simultaneously, hands upward over the head. Look up, lap parallel to ground. Balance the body with normal breath. Hold the position for 20 to 30 seconds, or as long as you are comfortable. As a variation of this pose, you can also keep the hands in Namaskara position. Exhaling, release the pose & come back. Take a deep breath. Now perform the same turning to right side. Veeravbhadrasana is very good to relieve back pain. It improves muscle strength & stimulates stamina. Strengthens & tones the arms, legs & lower back. It loosens rigidity in the neck. Removes fatness in the abdominal region. Since this standing asana is a bit difficult pose, Avoid this pose if you have heart problem. Exhaling, slowly release the pose. Take deep breath, Thank you.
