The F 700 GS is the direct successor to the F 650 GS. A shorter gear transmission ratio in the 75 bhp engine enhances agility. This makes the F 700 GS an ideal all-round machine within the GS family, suitable for every kind of rider -- no matter how experienced.

I bought a 2017 with 4500mi on her 3 weeks ago. I'm absolutely in love. I put 1100 miles on it already. It's my daily commuter. I get compliments on her almost every single day. Great bike!

Are you sure the 650 has a 798cc engine like the F700GS? I don't believe that is correct. However, the F700GS does have the same engine as the F800GS.
Yes, the change happened in 2008. There was still the G650gs that had the single.

You do realize that the engine comes from Rotax and not from BMW right?
