omg same !!! I love them to death, I even remember checking the offical website quite often to see a new drop (even though I couldnt undertand a thing cuz, its in japanese). Im glad more people remember them 🥰🥰

I’m so glad these games are a nostalgia hit for so many others too. I remember the exact classroom I was in when I first found them, on some defunct flash game site, and they were all in Japanese. My friends and I spent combined weeks trying to work out every combination for every game.
God I loved these games as a kid

Why did you guys stop making games? These kind of games would be more interesting and qualitied if you would keep going
@@bertoltfriedrichbrecht7975 They didn't make these games. These games were made by one Japanese man (EYEZMAZE) who had to undergo heart surgery years ago and haven't been able to return to making more games since. Or maybe he just got tired of the whole thing after the heart surgery.

Grow Valley has also stuff underground. That's what the robor is for. Also there is second ending that can be achived faster. There is also second ending for GROW V3.
The grow cannon game is exactly how I felt this morning trying to wake up lmao
I used to play this in back 2005. I remember I was so fascinated at the drilling hill just to make those roads and the robot.
There's a special place in my heart for this whole series. I remember the branching path one very fondly (the one where you dig down and make a mine. though i always liked the space flower ending)
The thing about these games is the non true endings things can become other things when you don't follow the right path. Thats what makes it so interesting.
I'm so glad Ruffle made these games playable again. The Grow series is great.

i loved these games so much, i used to try to get every ending by trying to use every object in different orders. my favorites were grow valley and grow rpg because they had the coolest cutscenes
and there you learnt how fast P(n) grows

This is nostalgic, played it soooo many years ago, forgot it even existed
I loved these games! Not so much traditional gameplay, no killing, just gentle puzzling and experimentation.
This happened to me once while I was blazing through promising starting conditions in SimCity for SNES. I ended up with a village that, after a year (or two?) was perfectly stable. The income, costs, and all were perfectly stabilized. I let it go like that for 15 years and then some fire or whatever happened and it didn't come back the same when I repaired it.

Imma be real, watching the grow series as a speed run hurts my heart a little. I didn't even know you could skip the cutscenes, and I'll simply choose not to from here on.
That has to be one of the best towers I've seen in a long while. Had a whole brick transformer.
There is also the alternate ending to grow 3 where instead of level max you get level fire for all the components.
Man the nostalgia, really loved Grow Tower though Grow Cube will always be my favourite :)

Oh, if you're curious about the robot in Grow Valley, it's a robot mole suit, it was used to do all the underground digging and work.

For the entirety of the video I've only been thinking "I'm sure there's a comprehensive story that I just don't know" and nothing else.
I could have sworn there's also another GROW game where the guy's sick, and we have to make him recover.

If you're looking for small simple games to speedrun, you should run Volantia: Kingdom in the Sky, it has no real competetive scene despite being a pretty well put together game that requires a good amount of luck and skill.

God I loved these as a child. Used to play them on the school computer. They were really hard because everything was in Japanese and I was about 8.
Currently I'm keeping an eye on The Mera game, but when I watch this video I still feel love these games
