The reason for the second giant after the statue is that initially in the Flash version, it was only the Statue, and it was a massive subversion of expectations. 13:43 so basically, in the stick war web game the boss intro broke out of the stone statue, so the players that played the web version first, they gonna think "oh the boss intro gonna be same" but then another even stronger giant come out of no where and they gonna be surprised
Tf ... lf u control a miner and use it to somehow protect other miners may work but it is extremely hard . Yeah , u can kill final boss with a miner (by controlling it) but mass miner is just mass suicide . Especially , when final boss used to have infinite target .😐
yeah, on my phone a glitch happened and now it shows i’ve played 54680 hours on a single run. i think a glitch happened to make it think i was playing on that run the entire time.
Fun fact: because one of the unit skins in this game gives your units lifesteal and the Swordwrath AI used to be less prone to swarming enemies, you used to be able to have one guy beat all of them solo.
If i remember correctly the giant in the statue is a reference to the first game where that is the final boss. Goated Flash game, been a while since I played the OG
For the Magikill level, the game suggest to use Archers. After seeing the video tought you made me remember when I would do some trolling with the Archers, basically control a Archer and start shooting the enemy at a safe distance
The reason the bigger giant shows up and kills the lesser stature giant is because in the original flash game, that lesser statue giant *was* the final boss, but when they ported it over to Stick Wars Legacy, they decided to add an even bigger final boss
It’s a very smart twist in both games. In Flash it was smart because you didn’t expect the statue to be a guy. And in Legacy it’s equally smart because you DO expect the bigger statue guy
I remember this game. A friend recommended it to me and I loved it. He showed me his main strategy (probably not practical for speed runs but still funny) where you take a sword guy, go to the enemy’s side of the battlefield, kill all the miners, and then the enemy is behind on gold production. Then you can build your army while they’re busy trying to respawn miners.
Tip : keep hitting the giant until he uses a attack and just move forward 🤣 he cant hit you Also with sword jump one can solo a giant Like 10 archers and one sword can kill anything by the sword dodging each attack You can also do it with the final boss
I always thought that spawn camping the enemies in all of the ambush stages is a little bit faster than just turtling. You can spam a lot of swordsmen quickly and then have them jump attacking on the enemies upon their entry. For those who are new, you can actually use the first swordsman you build to kill the miners while running around the initial enemies to cheese every normal 'destroy the statue' stage. Killing off either your enemy army or enemy miners triggers them into retreating their units and turning them into fewer invulnerable archers, but killing the miners is easier (usually with just one jump attack from behind). Afterwards, you can just mine and build up your army without worrying if you don't bring the statue's HP below the reinforcement threshold. This kills their economy (they have passive income like you do, but it sucks too) and lets you mass up your forces to let you have enough to kill off their reinforcement or just outright bring down the statue.
@@MrSpooky55early game harassment works though from my perspective like- just user-control and camp them as soon as you get your first Swordwrath/Spearton, and just go up and down so the castle archidons dont hit you.
Here's the tip for speedrunning the boss stage without using spell effects: you'll need 4 miners, 8 or 12 swordsman and filled up the rest of army with archers. Trust me, it will goes flows as an driven snow- Why? The power of archers will slays the boss just about 5 seconds. Tips: Uses a swordsman to murders the opponent's miners at beginning in order to reduce opponent's armies build.
SWL is literally my favourite out of all Stickman fighting games. Ever since I found out about the skins, I started playing again and I don't regret it! Managed to beat a bunch of stuff (weekly missions included) better than ever, favourite strategy being to control giants with the lava skin and stunning big enemy waves before knocking them out or letting them burn
Archers are actually pretty useful. In the beginning they might not make their worth felt, but once you get spear tons and magikill archers become the core of the offensive.
@@htetphoneaung697 User controlled archers are worth their weight in gold when fighting against kai and magikill. The only problem is that one has to practice and train themselves with the user controls. A single user controlled archidon's headshot kills everyone except for a giant and a spearton. And a large number of archers with maybe a couple of speartons are the best strategy(like in westwind) against magikill and even I the endless night modes till around night 25.
@@altairauditore3782 that's not the best strategy the best strategy (this is my personal opinion) is swordwrath yeah just pure swordwrath you can beat ANYTHING with swordwrath.
And the speartons and archers strategy you were taking about is also very time consuming and the enemy has probaly built up a strong army but swordwrath on the other hand is fast, strong when user controlled, quick at training and overall an insanely powerful troop.
@@htetphoneaung697 i get the swarming strategy works now here and is OP. I am not saying it doesn't work. But I was also thinking about the original flash game. And yeah I tend to do archer spearton because I like user controlling units. Makes it more exciting for me personally. Plus for the archer spearton thing I am talking 25 30 archers with a wall of speartons. If giants are involved then maybe one or two magikill. Adjust numbers as necessary. I prefer the slow burn total domination time. Snipe from afar with your user controlled archidon and if the enemy is too close, defend your troops with user controlled spearton especially with the vampire skin. 2 Spearton rows, 6 miners, and the rest Archidons destroys everything. (Also, Speartons with the Vamp skin are super good in Endless Deads, because they have a poison immunity that pretty much makes Toxic Deads useless)
Fun fact: if you had those Bluetooth keyboards with a iPad you could access left in developer controls, I don’t know if It is still in the game but it allowed you to 1. Get a lot of money and gems 2. Get upgrade points 3. Spawn enemies like the final boss 4. Get rid of your own units and the enemies 5. Skip levels and the entire game which allows you to get a time of 0:00
I also did a personal speedrun in this game. Same strategy as in this video but more on flexibility of user-controlled characters. I maximized the usage of jump attack of Swordwraths so that I can quickly deplete all the enemies, especially hitting all the miners at the back so that there will be no enemy archers spawning. Also the shield button on Swordwraths reduce damage from all enemy attacks, and is extremely useful when being aggressive.
Fun Fact: The archidon is actually a useful unit when playing casually, because you can control one, go up to the enemy base (but not close enough where Swordwrath and Speartons will attack you) and just headshot all of their miners

quick tip: on the second level (and any other levels involving an ambush), you can send your units to attack and they will destroy the enemy army on the far side of the map, saving you precious seconds.
You should check out Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel speedruns. I remember you saying that you liked clipping through the walls during the Cursed Mario 64...same thing in Borderlands Pre Sequel, it's a great time!
Fun fact: if you are stuck on the magikill, they die in one spear throw, upgrade or not. Or you can pummel them with arrows, just make sure to have some kind of melee to kill the minions.
I still remember this simple cheese where you control a swordsman to kill giants by going behind them every time they attack since they’re so slow, good times.
For No Mans Land (giant one), you can spawn in a Spearton and throw a spear behind the giants back, or just keep going behind him as it's attack has cooldown.
My favourite strategy in this game is the hit-and-run I used spartans as my vanguard walls and archers at the rear, I always humiliate my enemies by exhausting their resources.
I like to spam Spartans, if you throw the spear at giants it takes about a quarter of its health. I don’t speedrun the game but just be effective on the hardest level. Max spartans with some archers are OP.
the reason why you couldnt attack the statue and the reason why your guys targeted the miners was because you do less damage/ cant hit the statue (sometimes) if you dont kill all the soldiers after a reinforcment.
I found a way to optimize your speedrun, and got a faster time. The optimization i made was not spending on statue size and focus on the Magikill up tier 3 (the second upgrades) and up to the elite camp, then max out castle archers, on the final boss don't attack him but make sure he looks behind the statue so that the castle archers will do double damage when they hit him at the back, so they they kill him very fast. When i did this, I got 20:59 so it is very good
bro i won in 24:54 thank you bro for this speedrun i learned to not just play and once i beated nromal mode in 100:00+ I Know I Haven't Watched This Video Before Playing Stick War Legacy But Thank You So Much Dude I Won In 24:54
Something I found is that if you do a jump attack for double damage on a statue just before it goes under half health, it will still do the double damage, saving a second or two
1:23 bro doesnt know. On sundown levels, killing all waves as soon as possible will cause the sun to go down immedietely. Meaning that the time can be cut down severely. This works the same in zombie survival.
13:59 I think the giant giant (yes I put giant twice to emphasize how big the boy is) that killed the giant actually lives at the place the final battle is happening and is tired of the sounds of death and war so he comes out to end it himself.

I remember playing this game as a child, i really like it. I still play this and its pretty cool.
For No Mans Land (giant one), you can spawn in a Spearton and throw a spear behind the giants back, or just keep going behind him as it's attack has cooldown.
4:27 the smarts move I have ever scene
8:13 the pain when he called the speartons "gladiators"
all these speedruns of nostalgic games really takes me back goddamn
How dare you archers are amazing lol 2:16
Based my name off it
Giant strat: Send an archer to attack one giant. Select your sword man and juke his attacks (i mean it takes ALOT of time for their attack.)
I played this about 4 years ago and got back to it recently. My quickest speedrun is 44:57
I remember the old days
That only is like that the last wave.
@@GabrielPrado-cf3iw correct, but killing the waves faster will bring the last wave quicker. Spawn camping is insanely optimal.
Archers are underrated af they carry through magikill, swordwrath and basically every other level
13:59 I think the giant giant (yes I put giant twice to emphasize how big the boy is) that killed the giant actually lives at the place the final battle is happening and is tired of the sounds of death and war so he comes out to end it himself.
