I remember attempting that Skyblock challenge after watching the series by Ilmango and it was genuine torture, but also mad rewarding any time I made any meaningful progress.
It was one of the most difficult things I've done in any video game so far and I wasn't even playing it on hardcore like Martin. The sheer level of dedication this man has!
Mad respect to Martin for completing it and to Ilmango for coming up with farm designs and stuff, cause without that path finding mob farm getting iron would be practically impossible...

25:45 I got to this point and immediately let out a pained sort of laugh because I knew the agony that was coming. Because if was a problem *I* had been experiencing and I’d looked it up on the wiki myself. Oak Saplings grow into oak trees when planted singularly, or up to 4 saplings set in a 2x2 squade. DARK Oak saplings ONLY grow into trees if you have 4 of them in a 2x2 square.
Pain. lol.

The weird thing is that I remember that all the trees could grow with just one sapling and that they all had their thick version of 2x2 saplings, I don't know why I remember that as a thing when it's not.
