That baby lost her mother. As far as I'm concerned, she deserved all of the grace in the world. I felt so bad for the way she was treated. Glad to see her speaking loud and clear with her performance. Shut all of them down!!

As she clearly stated her win is for people who look like her. She is narcissistic and has some entitled victim mentality. Disrespecting white people globally. The same people who created the platform she is able to shine on. Definitely don't think she should represent America!
That type of attitude enduces divide amongst people she shouldn't be held in such high regards. Yes she runs fast but maybe it's time for all them white mofos she hates to drop the support for her!🙄.

I absolutely love Sha'Carri. From the first time I saw her in an interview back in 2019 during covid I fell in love with her. Hearing her speak, bringing all that spice and energy, I knew she was different and destined for the lime light as they say. Besides her obvious work ethic, which I am in awe of after being down bad and rising above it all to become a champion. Besides her natural ability and talent which I am in awe of especially seeing her get to that top-end speed looking so comfortable cruising right along almost looking Flo-Joesk. Besides all that its that spiciness about her in her pre-race and end of the race antics. That spiciness about her in her interviews that you either love hate or have mixed feelings about. One thing for sure is that girl makes you watch that sport. She brings excitement to a sport that could use a little more of it. CONGRATS TO THIS YOUNG QUEEN!!!!! Many thought she wasn’t good enough calling her names and choosing to not show empathy when taking things into context. Some chose to judge and even compare her to others in order to shame or tear her down. Despite all of that, she took accountability for her own actions when so many older adults in this country do not.
I think many of you forget, we are human with human traits and those willing to stop and improve upon oneself at any age is quite commendable. We are a people who are not perfect.
Thank you for doing it for the people that look like you and understand you.

People "bashed" her because she was young, immature, and made poor choices. People "doubted" her because she was performing poorly all while talking the loudest. Then she lost her position on the olympic team due to testing positive for weed. All on a public platform, a global stage. The negative criticism and "bashing" was warranted.
Now, she should be celebrated. She took accountability almost immediately. She trained hard, matured, and turned her public attitude around completely. Hard work and dedication. She's earned it and I'm proud of her and happy for her.

She even checked the black journalist who asked her if she proved herself to Jamaicans, and her response was classic: “I prove myself to myself.”

I learned about her before the Olympics, and have believed in her talent since then. I knew she would get there in due time. Good for you!
