Scania G450 is it like driving a car ???

- Here i get a drive of a new Scania G450 6X4 , not what im used to but looking very schmik inside almost like a car , so many electronics to get your head around all to help the driver , so i enjoyed my day driving it, would i choose it over my current drive ? i dont think one day is enough to find out but there is so much to like about it, tell me what you think in the comments below,

G'day mate , this is a new company truck so I cannot tell you how much, but have driven many euro trucks and this on is the bees knees , previous model I didn't like , benz to me was very ergonomic but electronics played up lots , Volvo got it done but felt very plastic , in saying the G450 won me , thanks for watchin, Catchya...
thats a very nice rig, i have a question. how do the axle weight rules work, because im from the netherlands (europe) and here 9 out of 10 trucks are 4X2. there i almost only see 6X4.
G'Day from Aussie, how it simply works is by group axle weight being 6.5 t(max for euro6 compliant) front axle then working thru to your rear trailer axle , ending with a total gross max of 45t = 4x2 -tri trailer, all on air bags (pay load of 24-27 t) if not get your calculator out as it can get messy lol, yes i was impressed with the truck and how it has improved , didn't care for the earlier model but this one was the bees knees , it only had a few klm's on it when i got it, but others love em too, better than the volvo or merc's, it really feels like driving a car to me, i'm past the good ol days , you want air con ? wind down the window , you want heating ? wind up the window , want pwr steering ? put your foot on the dash and strt pulling on the steering wheel lol aarrgghh good ol days long lost memory .

Nice rig Maddo! What donk does it have? Are these things still manual with the gear splitters?
G'day Marc what ya mean manual n splitters ? lol i just get in and select forward n go, any donkey (lol) can drive these things now , push a button or twist a knob (ouch) n go, almost everything is done by computer nowadays , sadly computers can't replace common sense or experience, cheers...
@@heymaddo True that mate - I am amazed at how much 'driving' is done for people these days by tech. I was impressed with how much tech is in those trucks though, and plenty of visibility with all those mirrors!
