GIVEAWAY CLOSED, Congratulations to David Wise, iCalifornia95 and Half Right Flock for winning the giveaway! Thanks to any who took part.
I would highly recommend 2 things based on my limited experience.
1. I love having the slot cut into the thumb screw so i can take the spine of my knife (or anything really) and just give the nut a little more torque.
2. Some kind of lock washer (split, star, etc.)
Other than that if it stands up to its intended use i think thats a hell of a deal!
Nice but what I really want in something like this is m-lok mounting that doesn't involve adding a chunk of pic rail and a bunch of extra snag points to the handguard first. Even better if mount positions to be as low profile as possible.
You know your not snaggin on anything
As another viewer commented TWL is great. Simple and to the point. Would like to see a constant on click and for the price, around $42.95.
For a weapon light - on and off is all I want. I will be getting one of these if it’s under 50 bucks!
It won't be...
This is outstanding! Thank you.
This is awesome most weapons lights are extremely expensive.
Name: TRL-01 (Thrunite Rifle Light-01)
Build: maybe some potted electronics to protect the light internals from the muzzle blast. Not sure about the beam shots I think maybe a orange peel optic or replaceable lenses sold separately to add spill for some peripheral vision. M-lok compatibility option?
UI: Momentary hold at 100% and constant on with 2 or 3 modes: 100%.50%,35% for enhanced battery life and less blindness for up close or inside the home encounters
Personal preference: I haven't seen many warm or neutral white weapon flashlights. If you made a high CRI 4000K or slightly warmer like 3500k I would pay $50-60 easily
Another user suggested asking CandlePowerForums. Maybe even consider asking reddit flashlight (r/flashlight). They definitely know their UI's, LED's, etc. and I'm positive there are plenty of gun owners on there
And I'm sure you will make a great light. Thrunite was my first lithium ion flashlight that dragged me into the rabbit hole that is flashlights
Congratulations! You win the giveaway, please send me the screenshot of a reply to your comment and your shipping address to marketing@thrunite.com, thanks!
Thank you so much Thrunite!
Great price point! Clean and excellent product! Amazing quality!
Simple is best in a gun light.
Well engineered, quality produced. I have a few Thrunite lights and I can say they are well worth the price tag.
a easy connection and a easy on off maybe pressure switch Mont by the trigger finger thanks for another video
The “TNT” ThruNite Tactical Weapons Light.
Send the first one to me for FREE for the AWESOME new name. Definitely could use a strobe and intermittent selection.
Always great products from Thrunite!
Thanks for the GAW chance.
$39.99 would be a good price point. Looks good. Slim, simple
I like the mounting system and physical desigh.
My ideal UI
Single click momentary on
Double click constant on
Triple click switch to strobe mode-repeat UI for strobe mode. Triple click goes back to standard on.
No variable brightness, just run as bright as it can maintain without thermal step downs.
The one thing I don't like is the beam pattern. Most people have trouble not getting tunnel vision in low light situations and as a weapon mounted light you need to keep situational awareness high. I would prefer to see a bright 5-10 degree hotspot in the middle with a wide spread of at least 135 degrees for spill.
At $39 these will sell like hotcakes at an IHOP.
Nothing like having a clear view of your target!
I think it would be great if you asked the same question on Candle Power Forums. There's a great flashlight community there that would be happy to give feedback and ideas. I like where Thrunite is heading, keep it up!
perfect light !
Looks like a perfect low pro option for pic rails. Would be a nice addition to any cqb setup
I really need one of these!
"The Identifier" with a momentary action remote switch, rail mount, plus the ability turn on and stay on for forty bucks would be awesome!!!
I like the new rifle light and also the compact size. I hope you also come out with an mlok version. I think have a few options in the UI to turn on the light constantly as well as maybe strobe. thanks for listening to your customers.
That will be a great light at a great price point. I have several Thrunite lights and they are very reliable. I suggest BL10 or TBL10 for ‘BattleLite’. Thanks for the opportunity for input.
I love the head of the flashlight design. I would love to see a 14500 duel fuel pocket sized light like this from you with high hours of eco mode. Ramping feature up to lets say 1200 lumen but more focused on long usage and run time. With a tail cap that is protected from accidental discharge and can tail stand. With the great 2 way pocket clip. A screw top usb c recharging would be nice too. I don't know if you can do that with duel fuel. Triple fuel would be even better, AAA, AA, and 14500 just my 2 cents on the perfect tactical pocket light.
TNT23 (Thrunite Torch 2023)
As far as what to have for this new light - easy mounting is good, on/off should not be difficult, on /off/ ability to strobe if possible and simple to switch to that mode if it becomes avaialbe to do so. .
Your weapon light options have been are great by the way, enjoy your lights and the constant work you have done to upgrade the charging for your lights over the years. Love the quality and cost of your products. I would suggest prices anywhere from 44.95 to 49.95
Excited to see what you all do next.
This is just what I need.
Really cool.
I have over a dozen thrunites. Plenty of other high end lights.. I’ve bought thrunites for friends and family. It is 100% my preferred brand, given the price point.
Pressure switch is a must. Off/on and momentary. I also want it to mount flush. Hoping it’s rechargeable. If the price is right, I will buy several. I have about 7 guns I want to throw lights on.
46 bucks will be fine and 2 levels of light and strobe will be useful, for the name can be thrunite Firelite
Looks like a great light, and best of all, simple and affordable. I think a simple UI is best. Momentary on/off, and on/off.
I like the slim profile. Prefer soft press for momentary high and click for programmable high/low. Must have scout footprint for offset mounting. Call it Beacon Pro (TBP). At $50, I'll take half a dozen.
M-LOK, offset mount, switch with constant on and momentary on.
If Thrunite wants to sell a ton of Weapon lights I’ll list the points that if they hit, will definitely have a winner
1. USB c rechargeable with the ability to charge while still mounted to the weapon
2. A pic rail mount with the ability to be removed and the light to be mounted to a scout style mount.
3. A non proprietary 18650 battery , which i feel Thrunite missed on the TW20 light they have
4. The lumen and candela roughly of the same capability of the Thrunite TW 20
5. Include a pressure switch tail cap as well as a click button cap
6. A simple programmable interface that includes constant , momentary , high and low and a optional strobe, whatever interface needs to remember the last setting it was on and revert back to same setting upon reactivating the light.
If they rework the TW20 or make a new light that includes these features in promise it’s a hit as long as they keep there pricing competitive which they always seem to do. I would say around the 100$ Mark. Thank you!!
THRUNITE "PENETRATOR"!
HIGH & MEDEUIM Beam. OPTIONAL tape switch, and use a CLICKY TAIL CAP with a shroud. ADJUSTABLE THROW LEVER, instead of thumb screw down. Make it super low profile.
Thrunite Gun Light $49.99 , great product with awesome features, it would be very useful for my airsoft games at night with friends, thanks for the chance :)
Cool!!
If it could come in at $39, that would be amazing. That's a great value for a wml w/ pressure pad. I think a simple on/off is great, but instead of just momentary on, a quick click should turn it on/off and a long hold should be momentary on/off. For this price point, simple is awesome.
As far as a name, I think I like the name Bravo.
My only other concern would be that for the price it'll hold up to recoil.
Well, I depend on your lights for EDCand work. Guess I will need one on a weapon or two now.
A ewd option would be awesome. UI wise just high and momentary and on off toggle.
I like the ones witha way to mount the switch
Great stuff! How about “Piercer”? I like the momentary.
Just on and off. I have the blackscoutsurvival pistol light and on and off is all I need maybe momentary on/off by pressure
The THRUNITE UP LITE and keep it simple, on off only .
Holding the pressure switch should remain momentary. A quick press of the switch should be constant on until pressed again.
Would be nice to have a quick support hand only method of switching from full bright to half or third brightness.
Just think tactically about the modes and their activation.
Thrunite BBL (Budget Battle Light). With a price point of $50.99 and with a momentary on/off mode and and constant.
Shorter cord between light and pressure switch! Or at least the option of a short cord model and long cord model.
A strobe function would be nice
A light is great for a home self-defense weapon.
Push once for on push and hold for strobe
At a
Love them thrunight, great price.
Cthem, would be a good name.
😂
On/off and hold for strobe. 50 bucks sounds about right. Name it Phoebus or Baldr.
Needs mlok mounting options. Keep it simple with momentary on/off
I think the best would be press and hold for momentary on, quick press for constantly on. Maybe thrunite hunter, or thrunite scout for the name?
Definitely add strobe
I like the idea of either momentary on, or hold on to keep it on. Part number RTL10 . Rifle Thru light 10 . Price it at 44.99 . I'll buy 3 right now. Thanks for the new product update.
The Thrunite Nitesight
In my opinion interface should be as simple as possible. Maybe single switch press turns it on/off and if you press and hold it stays on as long as you press the button. As per name I think maybe TW30 - to be consistent with naming standard : )
It would be great if Thrunite adds some compatibility of these lights with Arca swiss rails seen on camera and camera lens plates. Also a HighCRI LEDs would be great so that this can double as photography light. A long throw distance(500mts or higher with atleast 18650 batteries) is perfect.
Price it for 49.99. Why don't you call it the Thrunite TWL(Tactical Weapon Light) or just (Thrunite Weapon Light). Or maybe even AWL( Archer Weapon Light) if you want to keep it in the same named lines you already have.
I'd name it the Thrunite "THOR" I own a Catapult V6 and absolutely love it!
I am looking for a good light, I'll add this to the list
$49.99 price would be reasonable, adding a double click for steady on would be a nice feature, as for a name, perhaps something simple such as "Trunite eLite" pun intended.
i hope it has a strobe function and maybe a stay on switch
Interesting
Simple on and off.
considering I am a poor, I would like the price to be around $29.or less. as far as features, I would like it to have an breakaway magnetic dual style tail caps/pressure pad & magnetic recharge, with the option of swapping to standard sized batteries in case of an emergency, constant on/off with momentary feature on the pressure pad & very long run time with a separate switch for on - off & high - low settings, strobe, floodlight - spotlight adjustable throw, very light weight so to not to weigh the nose of your gun down. that is what I would like to see for features for less than $29.99 basically all the feature and then some of the top most popular brands, for less than 1/4th to 1/3ed the cost.
Hope I win. Thanks for the chance.
I think I would choose a simple name like TRL (Tactical Rifle Light) since most of Thrunite names are similar.
I personally prefer smaller lights with a click tailcap only, no adjustments to brightness.
Must work with MLOC don’t forget that.
I’d like to see how it holds up on a 12ga.
I don't have enough experience to make knowledgeable recommendations, so take it with a grain of salt. It seems to me if this is going on a rifle it should be as simple as possible: on-off only. I wouldn't want to risk getting into the wrong mode when turning it on in a time of need. In addition to a good hot spot I would want more spill, in order to acquire the target (as opposed to homing in on a shot), but again pay more attention to those with experience. Otherwise I do like the simplicity of the design, including the mounting arrangement.
This is welcome news. I am in the market for a light for my Glock 19. Oops, not for handguns, for my Mini-14 then.
Ditch the tail switch
Maybe a strobe light with quick double press. 49.99 price. Thrunite "nitehawk"
Strobe is a useless feature
I like a simple on and off. How about CQB-1000 for a name? or WML-1000?
M Lok compatible.
Name: Picy10 cuz it fits a Picatinny Rail, Features: Firefly mode to Full Bright with memory of last used
NiteEye would be an attractive name, keep the options as simple as described in the video so as not to sacrifice quality.
I could dig this around 40-45 bucks
$45 - I'd like to mount that on my bike!
I have the protac and don’t like it. Name should be HRF-2023
Price- free for T&E. Lol $40
I like it in its current hold if you want it to stay on.
Not a fan of the battery choice. Hope this helps.
Congratulations! You win the giveaway, please send me the screenshot of a reply to your comment and your shipping address to marketing@thrunite.com, thanks!
"Daybreak" for name. I like it but I still would like a little more spill and to see a little further because the video, you would have to be right on top of what you are shooting (I understand video isn't the same as live).
what do you think for this name:Ratel?
NITE OPPS Tactical
First thought is definitely just momentary on/off at full power. A weaponlight should be as simple and most importantly, PREDICTABLE, as possible. Every time you activate it, you should be 100% certain how it will behave, because if it is ever actually NEEDED, it is a stressful situation where fine motor function may be degraded in favor of life-preserving gross motor function.
Momentary on/off, easy to activate, and keep on by your normal hand placement, but easy to deactivate as well so you can move without constantly displaying your position.
If a constant on method is needed, the switch should be a separate option, possibly on the light itself, but could be on the pressure pad as well, but it should be extremely distinctive to prevent accidental.
There should be no further modes other than on/off at full power. Again, entirely predictable.

@@ThruNite Thanks so much! I can't wait for it. It's been awhile since I've gotten any new lights.
Hmmm. Give me a minute to debate with myself. Gotta put this in context to what I currently use.
Dual fuel, 18650 or two CR123a. I won't buy any light unless it's dual fuel now. Allows easy use of rechargeable 18650 and any cr123a in a pinch or if shtf.
A gun light, you say?
Has to be TG1.
PP23 pew pew 2023, price 67 buks.
We want a turbo mode that last 10 min around 1250-2500 lumens, a short light so it will fit on ar pistols etc etc. Also please give it atleast 280 yards of throw but not more then 330 yards. That way the light will shine a 100yard target really good. But with a little bit of spill
Empty space
That's a very low profile setup
