    I watched your Torture test of gun lights as my basis to purchase the TW10 at a cost of $35 I'm pretty satisfied, but I see a possible upgrade in the future

    I find the candela perfect for indoor situation in a house setting, it lights the whole area in a house regardless indoor in a hallway or large room.

    They make a 18350 with button, and u can also use a small metal magnet to touch the positive point for charging.

    Who makes a kydex sheath for a Glock 19 with THRUNITE TW10 light?

    Attaching a tactical light to a gun is optional, not mandatory, but it does have its valid, legit obvious functions. It is a fact that the added weight under the gun barrel reduces muzzle flipping, thus improving target acquisition for faster shooting. It also helps to identify a target at night time, particularly if you are at home, where fatal mistakes could be made. Gun tactical lights are excellent for the military, police, and civilians. The latter is a matter of personal choice, in my case, I own several gun lights that attach to my handguns at will, and remove them when I feel like. Easy going.

    I had some decent handheld lights from Thrunite, but this thing is pretty bad. They had it right going 18350, though. Hopefully they'll keep revising it into a good sub $100 wml. Kinda reminds me of olight's first generation valkyrie wmls which were also terrible.

      It is my hope that feedback here helps them continue to evolve. One of our goals with this channel and lowlightdefense.com/ is to give back to the firearms community by providing better data. In turn, this can help push manufacturers to provide us with better products.

      No such thing as a WML under 100 dollars much less 200 dollars..There is a reason they are so cheap, slave labor, horrible QC, poor quality design and parts used. If it is a light you depend your life on people are fools to buy cheap lites.

    I just picked this thing up and its insanely bright. It doesnt really have a hot spot, its more like a full flood light, lights up the entire area evenly. Im very satisfied so far. Looks much brighter than my TLR-7. As I just said it doesnt have a hot spot at all but I feel like it gives much more visibility overall in my backyard. Light with hot spots tend to leave Peripheral areas a bit darker while lighting up the center target. I personally like the clicky switch buttons and didnt have any issues activating, mounting screw was weird for sure, that could be better. I wasnt expecting the world with this thing but for only 35 bucks, so i can literally buy 4 for the price of streamlight. Good enough for my secondary rifles and pistols i dont use that often.

    There’s a really annoying audio humming that builds up in the background, every 60-90 seconds, in all of your videos. It almost sounds like it was done on purpose, but it also just abruptly stops at the start of the next scene. Other than that, amazing quality reviews!!!

    In your opinion; what is more important to buy first Red Dot or Weapon light?

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  3 роки тому +8

      Personal opinion: The sighting system on any pistol is adequate. But very few pistols come with supplemental lighting to help you identify threats. Plus excellent lights range from $80 - $140, and do not require modifying the pistol to install. I say a light, then a RDS.

    For a weapons light you’d want a wide flashlight vs a beam because your flagging everything you point your light on. If you have a wide flood light you can be at the ready and not flag.

    This is a total hit piece on the light. You cannot turn a screw? Today this light is $32.99 on amazon. Biggest steal out there. I have two of them no problems.

    Yeah 18350's are definitely far superior to CR123's, it always pains me to see products still using them. They served a purpose over the years and did so well, but they're just sub-par these days. It's also very disappointing seeing companies use proprietary versions of common batteries like this 😡
