Just a friendly comment about one of the rules I don't think was used that may make the game more difficult. When the villain takes a turn and lands on a location with a threat card that has the target symbol, it will activate the threat card's effect. You can see an example of where this was ignored at the 17:15 mark. This instance would have moved the threat track up one more spot.
RedSkull stuck around and would have activated it a second time at 20:58 moving the Fear Track up another 3 spots this time. There was one more time they didn't do it on the RedSkull match but by now, it's hard to tell how many thugs and civilians would have been there since they weren't removing them like they should have from the threat card.
I'm not going to comb through for other times they missed it, but if you were thinking this is too easy, it probably would have been a close call if these threats were played out instead of forgotten.

How did it go? I got it for my son for his birthday.
I'm super excited about this game. I was a little worried about it when there weren't any videos of gameplay on the KS page, but the playthrough is just what I needed to reassure me. The game seems fun and I'm super excited for all of the characters now.

It was nice to see the heroes have different cards.
And to sleeve or not to sleeve? I used to be OCD about that, but not so much anymore.
I have so many games nothing is played often enough to get worn out.
Turns out WalMart jumped the gun on releasing it before the street date.
I've only made it about 18 minutes in, but I think they're playing the turn order incorrectly. Unless the rules have changed since the Kickstarter, you only choose who goes first at the start of the game. After that, play just continues in clockwise order.
*edit: They correct this a few minutes later.

When you discard a thug or civilian, they don’t get added to the mission card.
Is this true? Just asking because I've made that mistake before.
@@Mathroy It is true. They only go to the mission cards when you punch (a thug) or rescue (a civilian). If it says discard, they go back to the tokens pile. Makes sense for the Hulk because he doesn't really rescue civilians. xD
is this game out in england yet. as i just bought a copy but it says out of stock for now. i dont like waiting so if its not i want to cancel it. please let me know.

Hero card could be public and shared with your friends to make the strategy and team work. Do we need to hide hero cards?
They say in the first 10 minutes that you can show your hand to your teammates in order to strategize and cooperate better as this is a Coop game, but I'm not sure if it's in the official rules. I have absolutely no problem playing that way.
Played the base rules with my girlfriend beat the 3 villians easy. But i played solo with the hard mod. And it was challenging. So ill keep trying it out with more players and the mods. Plus i allready have some ideas for house rules.
You missed a lot of location abilities, including helocarrier
I’ve just played my first game after Kickstarter delivery and I’m pretty sure that you are supposed to include a BAM action for the villain on EACH of his turns, not just when it says on the card?
What makes you think so?
Bam only gets utilized when the villain's card says Bam
@@andrewwilliams8736 yes and if villain KOs a hero.
I thought the same way as well when first reading the rule book because the example was not clear. After reading the rules and noticing there are cards with bam and others without it seems that bam is only activated when it shows on the card.
So, the retail version is out before the kickstarter version? Is this common?
For CMON games yes, but it's the retail version not the KS version

They sold everyone split shipping Promising to get you the core near the retail launch, and haven’t gone into production for their backers yet. They are 3 months out from their promise if it prints literally today.
@@82ndmi I don't follow the updates too closely. All I know is I just got my copy of Project: ELITE a couple weeks ago (est. delivery Nov 2019), so I'm not holding my breath.

Fun game play, can't figure out what the move, attack and wild tokens are used for thought. They were not used at all as they were just actions on the hero cards
Some heroes have special abilities that allow them to hand out those tokens to any player when playing an action card.
It's because they played it wrong. It says in the rules, that the heros may spend the action token. Which means, as is also clarified in a note later, they may hold on to them and spend them during any future turn.
First game seemed a little underwhelming, but the second looked really fun. And I agree with Tom that the Ant Man miniature was the coolest in that set. Such a cool mini!

Please please please make an X-men version! I really wanna fight Apocalypse and the 4 horsemen! And Magneto and Shadow King and villain Legion! And there are just as many X-men as there are Avengers!
I would love that. If they do I am keeping my fingers crossed they’ll add Emma Frost too.
An Xmen version would be awesome. Maybe they could add it as an expansion to this game.

@@dreadknot69 I disagree... A chibi style minis game with Marvel characters? That's a Christmas or birthday gift for any number of kids, and it's light enough to get kids and parents to play it... Do I think it'll be sold out day 1? Not even close, but I do anticipate it doing well enough that they may consider making an X-Men version of it
@@dreadknot69 given that is sold out on Walmarts site before many even knew about this says it will likely sell pretty well at 30 bucks.
Not thrilled with the way CMON handled the kickstarter "news" about separate shipping and then not being up front it would be available at retail even before that extra shipping payment. BUT, I'm very excited to see this is family friendly.

The gameplay seems completely underwhelming. I can't see this sticking around, but what do I know? Simplistic, repetitive, and boring are the three adjectives that leap out at me.
That’s kind of harsh after watching one gameplay of the most basic version of the game, but I guess to each his own
@@DoctorGarro I mean they played two out of 3 villains in the box, and 6/7 heroes. They didn't seem that different either, pretty sure this is a what you see is what you get situation. Weather it's what you want or not is up to you but I dont think there's any hidden depth here. That all depends on the expansions, which is where they day the variability comes from.
I agree, the gameplay looks boring. The villains offer a little bit of variation, but the heroes have so little that's unique that there's no reason they even need a unique deck. The minis are fun, it's a shame the minis weren't paired with a deeper game.
VaultBoy Each hero has unique abilities and they have a different ratio of symbols on their cards, so each plays differently enough that warrants exploring the other heroes. And, as they said during the gameplay, a nice, short, with scaleable difficulty co-op has a place in a collection. Something doesn’t have to be unnecessarily complex to be FUN.

Not going to lie the retail version sucks REALLY bad. Cant play this 2 player at all. You lose at character selection.
