What you could've done since it was so thin is you could mock up some aluminum and then some how attached to the bottom of the flimsy side skirts so they don't warp and save you money still

Well the splitters are supposed to be for aerodynamics I don't think they're supposed to be real stiffer real heavy maybe you just need 2-bolt them under a little I don't know cuz I was going to order some of this stuff for my Honda or I was going to build it from abs from the factory.. thanks for the video though I'll research what kind of material to eBay ones are off first
Try using some fiberglass to reinforce it from the back maybe? That's what I'm tempted to do

@NuMBERNYC buy some and a roller and you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to work with :) especially if you are just cutting a few strips and putting them on the back of a sideskirt like these :) 30 min job and doesn't matter about being neat or tidy as it will always be the bottom inside of the skirt :)
Are these all the same splitter ? Or are they made specifically for the car in the description? I want it for my f150 but don’t know if it’s too small for a truck

Perhaps to make things stronger (also for side skirts) the bottom side could be enforced with diy fiberglass matt. Or a trespa or hard wooden template under it... Or aluminium that someone mentioned, indeed.

Hi there. Good video! Question on the chin spoiler, have you had any wind dynamics issues? Like the force of air causing under side of the vehicle damage? Especially to the liners: center piece and the wheel liners?? Thanks for your time, Anthony.
This front lip spoiler had no wind issues, However someone (probably by accident) stepped on the red lip part and it would not hold anymore. Luckily it was just the red lip part so I removed it and left the black parts attached. Looks great now with no issues.

I wouldnt go with glossifier. If you want to go cheap just get rustoleum clear and cut and buff it. Dont repruchase just vinyle wrap the red piece. Any one could do an easy piece like that.

The speakers really push out the bass and the noise was cool but unexpected... hehe
about the warping i think that yes they are kind of flimsy, and BLACK. the black really heats up like crazy and so it melts, i think these may hold up better painted a lighter color, probability would last longer painted white.
I like that idea! I even thought about painting it white to match the car, but it will get dirty real fast and will be visible in the most part. Luckily, black works great with the car.

I purchased these but individually sides ,front back canards ...didn't warp had on for 2 years now on my Acura TLX looks Damm good in my opinion...I did put a few more screws to so I think that made a diff applying it tighter in certain areas

had the same problem bought an ebY front lip for a 97 civic lasted a few months fell off on the rd and was ran over and destroyed.
That’s the worst! If you plan on getting another one, make sure to add more screws/bolts on them. You won’t have that problem again

I think if you go on eBay look for a seller who carries a lot of front splitters and ask them if they can sell just the red piece.
Better to wrap it in gloss red vinyl.
Is the front lip made of good material
It’s made of plastic. So far so good. I’m enjoying it
He put the screws too far. He was probably trying to get the wide body look. If you tuck them in you'd have no problem at all. They fit perfectly on Altimas
so superglue a plastic stiffener along the back side
Could get some mesh and melt it to the bottom

That's super flimsy. I believe they were meant to be made of carbon fiber. I bought a full kit to try out for ~$80 and if I don't like it, it'll become the skeleton for my custom carbon fiber kit.
That’s actually a smart idea. $80 for a core body (molding) that you can use to cover with fiber. 🤓
