I love how you include historical markers. They are always an interesting read. I always pause the video to read them. Morning coffee and a Jawtooth train video is the only way to start a day!
Thank you for this video of Norfolk Southern trains going up and down The Hill in at Erlanger and Crescent Springs, Kentucky from 26 January 2024, Jaw Tooth! The trains that you captured at Erlanger were near the top of The Hill. You were able to catch both Norfolk Southern trains #375 and #376. They are the loaded and empty daily steel coil trains between Middletown, Ohio, and Rockport, Indiana.
A rather short mixed freight going down the hill, but that's okay. You don't want to try to slow too much weight going downhill! I just loved the shot of it rounding the curve coming toward us!!! Fantastic shot. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤😊
That was one hard working EOT DPU. Anyone can run a train up a hill but you really have to know what you're doing to get one down a hill. Looks like the loader was doing some ditch work. Cool drama on the hill. Enjoyed it much, thanks JT!
New boy puppy 😊 Sorry to hear about Sophie, she lived a happy life with you and family to. Are you going to have a naming contest amongst us subscribers for the new puppy?
The site and sound of HOT and EOT power working hard on the hill never gets old JT. Boy, really forgot how little Loki was as a pup , so cute. Thanks for sharing JT👍🏼
So true! I love filming trains when they are on hills. I got the CCET today going up Williamsburg hill with 24 cars using a Geep and the little switcher
Loki sure was small when he came home. And so adorable! But all of your pets are! Thanks 😊 for sharing them with us, JT. You brought us a spectacular video today and I sure do appreciate it. Thanks 😊 again JT!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Great train action in Crescent Springs and Erlanger Kentucky this morning with a DPU and seeing the trains going underneath while on the bridge, visiting a train station and a caboose which you don't see very much of anymore and seeing a flashback of Loki when you brought him home, Norfie, the Train Dogs and the train slide show as always an awesome train action video Thanks again Jaw Tooth. 🇺🇲🤠🐈⬛🐕🦮🐕🦺🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
Cool !! I had been thinking that it must'a been about a year since Loki came to live with you guys. Seeing Chessie's reaction to him again is great! They sure did become best friends!! Love those doggies!!
More to come! I found a bunch of videos of the puppy's first days. It has been almost a year since we got Loki. Chessie now has a good friend who she can play with. She needs the exercise. Brandi doesn't really play much. She is now the old doggie lol
I enjoy your content, JT. I also appreciate the family-friendly delivery that lets me show all of these to my 4 year old son. Keep up the great work, good sir!
Glad to see you made it back from Florida, Jaw. I'm always in awe of the power these locomotives develop - just amazing! Loki has grown into quite the 'big boy' (I love UP - What can I say?). He was a really cute puppy and is a nice looking adult. Have a great month of March and may the days get better as the year grows older. May God bless and protect you and your family.
That was a very cool 😎 NS mixed freight going up the hill, JT! I've never seen an NS locomotive in those colors before. I liked it a lot! Was it a heritage unit? It also had a beautiful brand new yellow box car. That was fabulous!! Good catch JT!!! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Great place to go Railfan and catch some awesome train action! Great angles on some of those catches. Enjoy how you give us the opportunity to catch and read the historical markers wherever you go to JT!! Thanks for all the miles and time put in to bring us the rails Brian. Until next time!!
Hoooray torthe Erlanger Historical Society for saving that wooden depot and making it a museum! Saved an important piece of railroad history. Outstanding monument to volunteers. Erlanger is an impressive community. Must be a very pleasant place to live. Thanks for capturing all that historical info. and sharing it with us. Fantastic puppy there. Puppy name? Maybe Heritage Unit?
Yes indeed! I love going there to film trains. The puppy video was a flashback from almost a year ago when we first got Loki. That was the first time that I ever saw him and the first time for Chessie. I have more video like that of Loki. It seems so long ago since he is so big but it was only last year. He is a great dog. I am thinking about getting a fourth dog also
Good morning JT. Great shots of the trains going up and down the steep hill. Those engines were working hard! Love the tidbits of historical info in Erlanger. Looks like you filmed on a beautiful day. We have lots of rain down here in the not-so sunny South. Great video JT!
D-P-U-I-C-U. NS train had weird paint scheme on the the second engine, DPU working hard on the end. Interesting depot at Erlanger, old Souther RR caboose. DPU on the rear of the steel coil train, nice. Jaw, the cameo by Shoestring was a nice touch. Hope he is riding somewhere!
Looks like those NS patch-renumbered CM&Q heritage AC4400CWs were actually owned by CIT (CEFX) Leasing, then sold to NS. Too bad those engines are going to lose that pretty CM&Q paint job.
As always , awesome captures ,angles, and information along the way. Thanks for this cool filming.❤😊 We look forward to seeing your pets at the end. Love them❤❤❤
That first train certainly had the sand and exhaust flying as it kept ascending the hill. Not too far back was a TTPX flat car that had just been worked on and note how all the new wood on the bulkhead was broken out already. While this location is not Tehachapi pass it's still requires plenty of good operating horsepower and experienced savvy crews to make sure the freight gets over it safely
Great video JT. That 2nd loco on the 1st train was a nice catch. Like that view from the foot bridge. Thanks, I do like to read those historical markers at my leisure... 😊
another You Tuber gave you a shout out on one of his live feeds. Steve from FSC Trucking. I've been watching your videos for a while and enjoy them. You do a great job with descriptions and have clear shots. keep up the good work.
Beautiful 2nd loco JT Never seen that before. Very close filming you got there just awesome. Beautiful spring like weather too perfect for waiting for the trains. Fab. ❤😊👍
School summer break I worked on an extra gang changing rails, 90 to 120 lb, we always greased the rails after install. Well a train had to stop on the spot with the grease, the Trainman was some piss... as he had a hard time getting the train rolling again.
Once saw CN security taking 3 men out of an open auto rack while train was stopped across from an apartment we were living in. In Bourbonnais Illinois. The train was stopped after three cars were derailed.

@@JawTooth hello there hope your easter weekend went well i was just wondering just how vast is your collection is would you give me a few pics one day lol thank you Jaw Tooth
23:15 I never noticed how some cars share wheels before. The last couple from the train come in threes so the middle car can share the wheels. I thought I saw something similar with one of those auto rack.... the one where you commented that you had seen it before inanother state
JT, May I ask what type of camera you use? I know you have a couple but whichever one you mainly use is awesome. I mean the audio is perfect, the video is not shaky and it has great color too. Maybe you use a gimble as well, I don't know. Whatever you use I love it and would like to look into getting one like it. Thanks for all that you do for us Railfans!
I love the green containers on the intermodal train. 😊😊😊❤❤❤

Glad you like them!
I love watching JawTooth’s videos, and the little extras he includes. Great commentary, too.
When I want the BEST of the rest of train videos, I know your videos are the very best because of your narrative and information!
Wow, thanks!
Awesome coil steel train with a DPU!!! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

@@JawToothNot a problem!
