Chad Smith is so underrated. I know all drummers there is, but Chad has THE MOST Swag and Groove. Hands Down. It's just unbelievable unique, breathing and in motion with so much flow.

Jack Saunders john had a lot of good concerts and that is not even the best
Wardo Melena I think most people though remember his Slane Castle one though as one of the most memorable performances not just from John but the band itself

reservoirfrog1 I wasn't saying this was anything close to Slane i was just saying that Slane was a memorable performance for the band but most of all John. It was a performance where he really showed off his skill and I was just saying I feel like this is Josh's version of that show due to the fact that he showed his development and skill which right now is at its peak. Nothing will come close to Slane
Jack Saunders not trying to be shitty but I disagree. I think Josh's performance here is mixed. His solos on Scar Tissue and Dani California, Give it Away were very meh and unemotional, but he nailed Dark Necessities, Don't Forget Me and Soul to Squeeze. I think he's good but very inconsistent. At least we can agree on our love for the music. I hope Josh really lets loose on the next album and takes more control. He's been in the band 8 years now. That's nearly as long as John in his second stint.

Is it just me or Flea’s tone is getting really close to the Californication era sound, it’s so perfect.
It's his signature fender bass that I thought would sound as fat as usual fender jazz bass but no it sounds more like a modulus and fender hybrid
Alex it might also have something to do with the fact the silver fender bass has a lane poor pickup like the old modulus basses from the Californication era

For 30 years I 'd been such a metal guy that I never accepted music without distorted loud guitar sound. BUT I was suddenly fascinated by Red Hot in 2011 when I saw'em playing on TV though I was not young enough to be like that 'cause I was 41. BUT now I love them as much as my lifetime favorite bands such as KISS , Led Zeppelin and so on.

their shows in south america just hit different... I feel like they just know the crowds there are insane so they always give their absolute best over there.

Anthony genuinely seems to enjoy Josh's solo's more these last couple of shows, and for a good reason!
Dani California solo was so so, Scar Tissue I didn´t like so much. Dark Necessities totally made up for both.
Soul to Squeeze and Don't Forget Me were popping though!
TheTwicey makes sense since its from an album he's on.
He's played lots of meager solos on songs that he's co-written, and he structurally nails the Give it Away solos. You can't conclude he plays songs he co-wrote right, and songs he didn't wrong.

simplemente inolvidable, esa sensación cuando empezó can´t stop, de ahí en adelante pura magia
si para mí es la mejor canción de ellos ''Can' t stop'' fenomenal esa pieza.
Nunca voy a olvidar este concierto fue puro rock y funk, ver tremenda puesta en escena, tremendos fans coreando todo, gente desmayada pasandolas por arriba, guardias tirando agua para aguantar la presión de estar con miles de personas atrás fue uno de los mejores momentos de mi vida y nunca lo olvidare
Y la química entre todos los que estábamos ahí! Fue una noche mágica inolvidable bro!

Josh really grew into his role quite nicely. I'm really glad Frusciante is back, but I wish there was a way they could have both Josh and John in the band at the same time.

I must admit I really liked how Josh played Soul to Squeeze. usually he doesnt put so much feel into his playing, especially when everyone wants to compare him to JF, but this was great!

@25:15 "Strip My Mind" is just one of those songs that has a special moment in my life when I heard it for the first time I been in love with the song ever since.. 15 years later just gives me chills listening it now

Jhonatan Villanueva esta presentación fue sin duda la mejor de la era Klinghoffer, para mi la era Navarro (1992-1998) fue una de las mejores, sin embargo las eras Frusciante y Klinghoffer no pasan desapercibidas, la verdad casi todos los guitarristas que han pasado por los RHCP han sido unas leyendas.

yo si creo me atrevo a más la banda todavía da para más e incluso para llegar a presentarse en vivo en viña del mar que para muchos artistas aún siendo de Chile les da temor presentarse al temido monstruo y yo creo que con el potencial repertorio y presencia son la mejor banda de rock, ellos lo pasan con éxito.

You grew more and more as time went on and it would have been great to see what you could of offered them again.

You killed it regardless my brother. I saw you I detroit in 13 on belle isle and you did a good job, but this performance is a testament to how much you grew from being a drummer to being a backup guitarist to fucking owing it dude.

You’ll never have to worry about paying for food and rent again, and you expressed yourself very effectively in a band known for having a certain sound. You did it!

I just love the fact that they are a REAL ROCK N ROLL BAND!!! Not many left. I absolutely love the rawness and energy and te fact that all their sound comes straight from them. No filters.
