Nice day out there mike, wish I really coulda went out more this year. Didn’t get out half as much as I thought but next year will be different, but still had a good season had to end it in late march becuase I don’t think I’m going to make it back.

Happy belated Easter to you and yours also. Seems you had a pretty darn good season, no skunks and some really good days. I fished more ontario tribs and didn't do as good. Poor year on those tribs. Wouldn't you agree that erie tribs are better now when it used to be opposite?

Well, congrats Bill! What an action packed season closer....those freshwater tarpon (haha) were all over that white maribou. As a hike-in to remote places guy, It also dawned on me that you are also hiking all day long up and down the creek as well as having to negotiate slippery rocks and everything else. Fantastic numbers today and the fish were beautiful. Hope you and your family's Easter was a wonderful occasion. God Bless and see ya next time, Don
Any tips on a reasonably priced centerpin for someone just getting into it? Looking for something south of 5", ideally 4-4.5 in diameter. Sadly my old man and i lost the 4 tanks we hooked, then got a couple dam suckers lol
i use a okuma but probably better off getting a used raven matrix or similar than a brand new okum - that sucks when you lose big ones - better luck next time ✌

i add a short section of 10 lb fluoro shot line then 6lb fuoro leader ✌ thanks man
