Does the armory crate interface in the bios need to be turned on for g-helper, or can it be left off?
Turn off is the best option for G-Helper because this stops armoury crate services in the background so G-Helper works smoothly without any interference of Armoury crate services.

Hello, my laptop lags a lot when it's not plugged in. in Armory Crate I will set the standard to Mode
this is normal but in ghelper you can also set your laptop to turbo mode without charger and set screen refresh rate to 144 or max.
@@Zonrow When I set the turbo mode it turned off the video card, in Armory Krat the same thing happens if you turn it on in optimized mode

No its work in background....but use around 10mb of ram. Armoury crate use horrible amount of ram and background services.

@@fxrtuneeee i actually lock cpu clock speed to base frequency so i see too much battery improvements and less heat. I also noticed there is not too much fps drop in game even i lock clock speed(tested game: RDR2, GTA V )

Good day ever since i installed ghelper there had been issues with my fan. The fan works normally as it should, sometimes I leave my laptop for a couple of minutes to do something else so the laptop goes to sleep and the fans stop but when it wakes up the fan doesn't't spin anymore. ever since I have downloaded helper this was the issue, I set the settings of ghelper to default and then removed it from my laptop. I went back to armoury crate thinking that that would solve the problem but it still continues. can you provide help for me, this laptop was just cleaned around 2 months ago.
It's not a problem; it's a good thing. Your fan only works when it's really hot or when ventilation is needed. In Armoury Crate, the fan always runs because it's a heavy software that uses more CPU and GPU, causing the fan to spin. However, in G-Helper, your laptop uses fewer resources and generates less heat, so the fan doesn't need to spin constantly. I hope you understand.
@@Zonrow my daily usae of my laptop includes revit and AutoCAD, 3d modeling and rendering. sometimes I forget to check the fan after waking up the laptop there were times that AutoCAD was not operatable
so I think this is a problem. Is there anyway to fix this

I see only Very low ram consumption and low CPU usage, rog key may be works but I don't have rog key(FA506IC)
@@Zonrow I tried it yesterday, the rog key works fine but unfortunately I'm back to armory create because my undervolt setting is unstable in g helper
G-helper needs more updates to become stable.
Battery charger limit did not work.. it was set to 80% which is the default when you launch the g helper but it still charged my laptop till 100% and I’m on the latest g helper
Make sure to "turn on at startup option "to enable this option. If this does not work use MyAsus and set same amount
@Zonrow can I customise fan curves in asus tuf a15 using ghelper ? because currently armory crate doesnt allow to.
Some asus laptop models doesn't have option to control fan curve because those are control directly by bios according to situation and temperature. Mine is also not supporting(tuf a15 fa506i)
The WinRar isn’t popping up when trying to install, I downloaded Framework 8.0, bc I wasn’t sure which download of Framework 7 I should’ve downloaded.

Yes Ghelper compatible withyou laptop, you can install Armory crate againg using installer which is available on their website.
is uninstall the smart display and ai noise in necessary I think these 2 engine is not belong to armoury crate however
Ai noice cancellation is not necessary but no more useful when you uninstall armoury and smart display is compulsory to uninstall because its interfere to change display refresh rate in g-helper.

microsoft net 7.0 isnt supported anymore, would using 8.0 or 9.0 do the same? Just wanting to make sure before I do anything.
I tried with .Net 8.0 and 9.0 app not working, it's required only 7.0. if you want latest one and ghelper both so first install .Net 9.0/8.0(LTS) then install 7.0 , it work perfectly fine

But I did try finding 7.0 but it won’t let me download it because it said it no longer is supported and that they recommend going for 8.0 which is supported or 9.0. So in other words, where would I even download 7.0 if it isn’t supported anymore from Microsoft. Once I can figure that out, thanks to your video I should be able to do the rest. By the way, what would happen if I got g-helper without net 7.0?

@@edgarmartinez4165 use .net7 download like from ghelper GitHub system and requirements page. Ghelper is build on .net 7 framework so it's necessary for ghelper to even open up app.
why uninstall? some reviewer says there is an option on the Ghelper to turn all asus services like armory create and asus 1 stops from running in the background.
Uninstall armoury crate is important... Like example Armoury crate use Asus smart screen display which control display refresh rate but when you install G-helper this will interfering ghelper control and make display unstable so this is recommended to uninstall AC and all related software....

now we don't need debloat file anymore , go to Ghelper > Extra > Stop [Asus running services]. but make sure you uninstall AC properly
hello zonrow, i wanna ask u. now I'm still using armory crate on my asus tuf f15 i5 11400 h. idk it's only me or no, when im unplug my laptop, my cpu speed is super slow, arround 800-1000GHz and still using gpu on standard mode. but when i change into exo mode, surprisingly my cpu speed increasing above 1,5 GHz (with cpu usage above 70%). is it safe? do i need download ghelper instead?
Armoury Crate never updates software and Fix bugs regularly. GHelper is one of the most actively developed software; you can see its development on GitHub. In GHelper, everything works perfectly. You can even lock the CPU frequency to the base frequency, so heating problems never happen. There are also lots of other options. Definitely uninstall Armoury Crate and install GHelper.

I have asus monitor control and asus hotplug controller in the apps which you dont have as seen in video. should i uninstall them?

Whenever i go fullscreen into a game such as CS2 im not able to use the keybind FN + F5 to change the gaming mode from balanced to Turbo.
@@aeon_edits its works perfectly fine for me. I play RDR2 and it works. May be some key combination were already set in your game controllers settings🤔.

@@SeRvERLu4R Asus smart display control is controller to switch to 144 to 60 and 60 to 144hz automatically when your laptop plugged or unplugged. Its important to uninstall because G-helper have there own display controller to do that same thing. If you don't uninstall, G-helper might face some issues to control refresh-rate
I uninstalled AC, but when press M5, appears the window where they offer me to install it. Moreover, in my computer are still some folders and apps like AC Key Control, Control Interface, etc. How can I delete it permanetly?

Hey buddy, armoury crate has a keyboard backlight mode, when turned on, the backlight changes depending on the CPU temperature. can I turn on this mode in G-helper? (TUF gaming А15 fa507xi)

Yes now you just need to install dot net, download and run Ghelper file. Now you can debloat all those things in Ghelper app.
And I also recommend you to turn off Armoury crate control interface in bios
@@Zonrow Oh, thank you friend for the answer, an additional question in the ghelper options, I stopped the Asus services but looking at the task manager, an Asus hotplug controller and Asus monitor controller process is still running, are they necessary processes or can they still be uninstalled?
@@sebastianmontenegro if you use Ghelper make sure to uninstall Asus smart display control because Ghelper have there own controller to control display refresh rate. And also uninstall myasus.

Turn off armoury crate control interface option in bios and also remove ac services using bash comments which is available in ghelper GitHub page.

What the problem with armoury crate cuz iam about ti buy the rtx 4060 tuf a15 ?
Armoury crates continuously runs at background with unnecessary services. In some case laptop under perform/overheating due to armoury crate. At the other side G-helper provides lots of customization without using too much hardware resources.
In my opinion i would suggest you to buy Acer Predator Helios Neo 6 provides too many things as compared to a14 4060.
@Zonrow the neo 16 ik got a better cpu than the r7 7735hs but it cost like 200$ dollars more than the a15 iam gonna stick with the a15 and ty anyways for answring❤️

The model is ASU’s Tuf gaming A15 FA506IC-HN075WS 2022. Specs: Ryzen 7 4800 H 16 gb ram SSD 512 RTX 3050 please help me all games are lagging and I feel bad for my purchase 💔💔💔
I have same laptop and mine is working great. I think this is right time to install fresh windows and latest drivers. And i also recommend you to clean fans and repast thermal paste if required. Do all of thing and let me know if it works or not.

Zephyrus M16 here. I think my problem is hardware. Everytime I put it to sleep or turn it on again the keyboard is dead (lights, keys etc). The big one is that when I uninstall and reinstall the AC the keyboard works again. I'll never buy anything from ASUS again.
sorry, for now you can use AC but may be in the future ghelper community solve this problem. you should tell this problem in ghelper github project, this will help all zephyrus m16 community in the future for ghelper software support
I had a similar issue on my Zephyrus G16, I had to turn off and on the option to have your backlights on while on sleep mode in AC.

@@Zonrow I have Dynamic Lighting off, and I haven't tried using a fresh windows installation yet, but that issue only happened to me once. It was odd but an easy fix

turn off armoury crate control interface in bios, uninstall current graphic card driver and installl latest one from GForce experience software. and also make sure you remove every ac software. after all of this, still not working i suggest you to reinstall windows and install ghelper agian.

Now you don't need this script. You can remove blotware using ghelper pre-installed function in extra>stop unwanted services.

@@tqmy1411 This is the reason why those option is not available in your laptop. G-helper provides same functionality as Armoury but without any unwanted softwares.

If your laptop too old this app might not works for you or you can inform your problem in Ghelper GitHub
Windows key, graphics settings. Select the app you're trying to run with the dGPU, and set it to high performance (RTX 3070). Technically, it's under settings>system>display>graphics, but whatever. Lmk if this helps.

if you want to debloat but isn't working don't worry just follow other steps and open G-Helper >keyboard>extra>stop services (stop bloat). it removes all bloats.

yes, it is compatible with windows 10 but make sure you also install .Net7
The ASUs services start running by themselves even after disabling them
Turn off Armoury crate interface/ download & install Armoury crate app(old devices) from the bios. And then remove services from the G-Helper app(app>laptop keyboard>extra>Asus services running>stop)

@@AldoDavis-vz4hb first remove myasus. Then check any Asus program left to uninstall like Asus smart screen,Asus noise cancellation,etc. If this not works for you then you should reinstall your fresh windows.

For now this features not available in G-helper. But i always recommend use some accurate tools like NZXT cam,msi after burner etc. Armoury crate not shows accurate result.

g-helper works only in notebooks?
G-Helper is mainly created for notebooks for better performance with good battery life. For PC Armoury crate is good option.

I will suggest you to Reinstall clean Windows. Reinstall windows can solve 99% of problems. And then install g-helper\Armoury Crate.

If you don't know how to reinstall so go with windows reset option available in settings. There are two option first without data loss and second complete reset. I suggest you to chose complete reset and store your important data to cloud/other storage.

Make sure you have admin privileges and turn off armoury crate interface from bios.
Also try turnoff Windows Security may be it works(App Control)?

Just the exe file is only to run the app?
No this all file required G-helper to function properly.
First extract folder and past to c drive.(all files-fll-exe in G-helper folder)
Open app and select run on startup.

No you can't house both software on same time even its compulsory to uninstall armoury crate and other asus software when you install Ghelper. If you use both at same time its cause some error like death screen of errors, charging problems ,display refresh rate controller destabilize.

Try if it work then take it or not so uninstall Ghelper or armoury. I am not 100℅ sure but it becomes very unstable.
If you use Asus tuf/strix/scar by default CPU boost enabled.

@@Waly1011 set laptop on turbo. turn on cpu overclock to aggressive.battery charge limit to 55%.turn on gpu boost if available in your model. stop extra asus services from the extra option.
@@Zonrow I have been touching things, and If I put the aggressive option the cpu temp rise a lot. I think I have to continue trying to find the best settings.
@@Waly1011 You can try limiting your CPU turbo boost (you need to edit a registry setting) and then you can customize the clock speed in energy control panel, so your cpu doesn't boost to the maximum clock speed all the time and have better temps without sacrificing much performance. Also make Silent plan in G-Helper with CPU Boost disabled so that way you can browse and use basic tasks with your laptop very quietly, and use Effiicient Aggresive for all of the other plans, Also you can make a custom plan and ramp up all the fans to 90% speed, use the calibrator in G-Helper also to know your max fan speed. Try to set your power limits to something like 30W for sustained and 45W for the short boost and your CPU will be a bit colder too.

You need to completely remove armoury crate....and also turn off armoury crate control interface in bios settings. And after all of this i would suggest you to reinstall fresh windows.(Use windows 10 if your laptop comes with 10). Install latest cpu driver(if you have amd cpu use amd adrenaline software to install latest driver) and for gpu use GeForce experience for nvidia driver. Disable cpu boot instead of undervolting.

I think you are using windows 10....you can turn off app control setting in defender, and I think there is an option like "run anyway" in that pop-up.
When I downloaded it, there wasn't an option to turn on Eco mode.
Did AC support eco mod?

@@aleczanderthemaster8702 i suggest you to perform clean windows installation. Your 99% problem will be gone. Then install latest nvedia or amd graphics card driver. For nvedia use GeForce experience, for amd they have their own tool called somthing like amd adrenaline tool.

If armoury crate works perfectly you don't need.I know it's too old model but you want some more controls like CPU clock speed,fan,battery, GPU go for it

@@rixas20 I suggest you just try it (direct download app and use(.net7 required)) if all functions works perfectly use it ...if not remove it(explore)
@@Zonrow like i thought. only thing i was able to do was change keyboard and the update checker has found a newer version of ez bios flash utility. The bios even denies any new fan curves.

I think this is not valid reason because Armoury crate is much heavier than G-helper and also contains too many unwanted softwares. And make sure you select run on start-up option.

Armory includes hardware firmware updates, as well as other software processes to optimize performance while G help does not (personal opinion).

There is Too many Options to to change RGB even more options then armoury crate(heatmap,GPU model color options).

Yes but with limited features. But i am pretty sure more features than armoury crate.

@@aleczanderthemaster8702 we can not add more features...its completely depands on you bios and hardware. If your bios allow us more customisation so ghelper automatically provide those features. If not say with limited but good and stable features.
AC use too much background process this is far better. Even you don't need myasus just only ghelper is capable to handle all those things using minimum system resources.
