Thanks. I have had major problems with the 24v engine multiple times so the car has only moved around 3000km since i made this video.
Right now we have just put a new 24v engine from top boss performance in and are now Looking into the ecu because we Think Thats Where the problem has been all along. I hope 2022 will be the year Where i Can get out and do some more capri videos with my capri.

@@Wil-70-NL yes I Got the capri back last month after a long stay at the mechanics. It’s now running another top boss performance 24v cosworth engine. My engine killing problems was a faulty wire for the lambda. Running really well now.

@@capri24vcosworthso the cylinder head is defective from the factory or it was a problem due to your engine... I would like to dismantle it and upgrade it with newly produced parts, shaft, pistons, connecting rods, cams, valves, but before getting started I would like to understand if there are real defects design because they could also be found in the future, just like valves 🤔

well done, fab job. I had my 2,0s in 1986, it was a 79 model, the door hanging points, the front underbonnet edge, the tailgate inner edge, the headlamp access points were all rusting by then so I know how they rusted ! The engine had already been replaced too, but upon checking was a 2.1 with high cam..After driving it for 20 thou miles I took it out, had it redone and added the twin webber conv, bugger fuel in those days lol. and it went like hell, loved it..Pleased to see these capris on the road would buy another tomorrow if i had the cash..Keep up the great work

Saving hard now for ANY Capri (Mark 1 or Mark 3) . I owned a few back in the day I used to be able to get them dirt cheap but at a time where there were a few more on the road etc.
Lovely job on that one like WOW looks stunning. I'm happy with a 1.6 to 2.8 injection (manual). I can see a few of these being turned into Electric Vehicles - I'm sure going to miss that wonderful engine sound so old school + cool. They should not outlaw petrol engines I suppose the other option would be LPG gas conversion

Hi there! How is the cossie doing? I have a question for you. Does your temperature gauge in the instrument cluster work? And if so, wich sensor did you use? The one from the original 2.8i? I don't know the resistor range for my gauge, that's why i ask. I run the original 24V sensor and that is in Ohms too high for the gauge. Grtz, Wil.
