I can’t begin to explain to you how much this means to my partner Adam and I. We’ve been traveling through Mexico 🇲🇽 for 2 years now and every word you spoke felt like it was coming out of our mouths and from our hearts. From the opening scene where you said you thought Mexico was just beaches and resorts to your warm stories … I held on to every single word. Thank you so much for this. We’ve also been to 40 + countries together and can without a doubt say that Mexico is one of our absolute favorite places in the world. ❤ It has healed me and taught me how to be a better person for myself and those around me. It has humbled me and fattened me up with not only its culinary delights but also wisdom that I could ever learn by reading a book. Our day to days may have been different but the theme to our love story is the same. Mexico 🇲🇽 We love you.
Thank you so much Heidi & Adam not only for this message but all your other lovely messages and shares. It is too cool to know how the words resonated, literary as if they were from your mouth! What a beautiful thing. Thanks so much for sharing your own story of the love and beauty that you have experienced! Love you! Big hug
I bet if Donald Trump traveled the whole country he would think different.😂 Thanks for every single one of your words. That is why it hurts when people say bad things about our beautiful country. Because we know its not true. You’ve seen it eith your onws eyes and didn’t believe what people say about it. THNK YOU! I am also a bike traveler. Not at your level (maybe someday) but i love it.
What a beautiful ode to Mexico and to it’s people. It brought me to tears and so nice to hear that when you have faith in humanity, good things happen.
As a Mexican and as a human being you've just touched and moved all my soul, what a beautiful video, love letter!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Love and blessings for you!
Dear Tammy :-) You make me cry so much ... in a good way! Thank you to speak up with your heart, your emotions. I'm so grateful to have met you...even if it was for a short chit chat! Your love letter to Mexico reach me straight in my heart. Yes, I do understand. You really expressed what we have been living, Bernard and I, in Mexico for 6 years now (in RV, camping and now as permanent residents). I have never been able to explain to my family, my friends, all the emotions that this wonderful country makes me live... it's visceral... yes you're right, it's a love story . Mi casa in Oaxaca es tu casa... Muchas gracias, hasta luego and have a safe trip. We will continue to follow you. xxx
Ah Christine! This is so beautiful and I'm so happy that it resonated with you and seemed to capture what you also feel, especially with how much time you have spent in Mexico, it's the greatest gift to know to my feelings were communicated. Thank you thank you for sharing and I am also so glad I met you both and I am so lucky to receive your encouragement along the way! Thank you!!
You blew me away with your eloquent tribute to this beautiful country and its people. This video is both an immense validation and inspiration. I applaud you 💗
Dear Tammy, I only would like to tell you “ Thank You” for your lovely message ❤. I am a Mexican guy, who has been also riding the world on my motorcycle and I would say that you perfectly described my country. We may some times see many bad things around us but we are more good people between us in such a marvelous land. You will always have our hearts open to receive you here again! Travel safe and continue making your life a ride! Warm regards 🙏 Jorge Septien Moto club BMW Capital Mexico City President
Aw Jorge thank you so much for you beautiful words! They give me goosebumps! Too cool that you run the BMW moto club in cdmx and have also been riding the world, I love it. The motorcycle community in Mexico City is AMAZING. I am continually in awe. Hope to meet one day! Thank you!
A friend of mine sent this to me moments ago, he told me you brought him to tears. I started watching without any sort of expectation, and within the first minute, I found myself streaming tears as well. What a beautiful way of capturing the very essence of Mexican culture. I wholeheartedly agree with your suggestion to not speak ill of my wonderful country, and to focus only on the positive from here on out. Art has a way of changing those around you, imbuing your message with theirs. Thank you for being there and communicating the way you do. There are too few of people like you around! Happy travels. - Amaury, Mexican, born and raised.
Aw wow that is really touching to hear! You're giving me goosebumps now! Thank you so much for these beautiful words, Amaury. I have recently discovered an interest in creativity and these videos feel like an expression of my personal creations so it's so beautiful to hear you call it Art. Thank you so much. 💜
This video made me cry. I miss Mexico. Thank you for your beautiful words. I am a Mexican living abroad and watching your video I recognized places, remembered feelings, smells and many things. Thank you again
I literally cried about your video, THANK YOU SO much for creating it :) I am from Mexico but now I live in Canada and miss my country, my people, my traditions etc. every single day and you couldn't describe it better than you did thank you so much :)
Tammy as a Mexican woman I send a big thank you for expressing your heart felt self about my country Mexico. I shared your video on my FB page and another FB page we have with more than 145,000 members. If you are n San Miguel, I would love to meet you. Bravo Tammy. Viva Mexico.
That is so lovely and generous Sonia, thank you so much! I absolutely love San Miguel, what a beautiful magical place, thank you for the invite, would love to meet you too, I hope to be back someday! Thank you so much. Vive Mexico!
Great to see that someone shared my experience of Mexico. It’s truly a magical country. Before I left for the trip south, I heard so many discouraging comments about Mexico, things I’ve never heard before as I’m non from the USA. But oh boy was the comments wrong. Missing Mexico more often than not, a little bit extra as the days get cold and short in Sweden. Travel safe and maybe my partner and I might see you on the road.
Thank you Gustaf! How nice that you also had a magical experience in Mexico. It really is wild the comments that get thrown around. I'm so happy you experienced the truth too! Big hugs to you in Sweden and hope to see you both on the road!
I've been to Mexico many times and couldn't agree more. It's my favourite country in the world. There is just something about it. I think I first fell in love with it reading stories as as child and then when my dad took me there at age 14. I moved there, alone, for a few months at 18 and spent my 19th birthday there with new friends. I've never forgotten those days and even more than 30 years later I still long to connect with this beautiful country and its people. It truly is an amazing country.
That's so awesome to hear, so true "there's just something about it!" Wow that is so cool you have such a history with the country and beautiful that the sentiment has stuck with you!
I came to México for a 6-month stay 32 years ago and fell in love with the beautiful country and warm, wonderful people and stayed. I can't imagine living anywhere else! I, too, traveled all over the country as a single young woman and never, ever have had a bad experience. I think our attitude here has a lot to do with how we experience México. Thank you for your positive words about my adopted country and her very special people! Buen viajes!
Here, in México, we used yo say: " my home is your home", and it's true. But the entire world is our home. Let make of it a wonderful one. God bless you! With love, from México, to you.
So thoughtful and poignant. Thank you for sharing openly Tammy! You brought to mind so many memories of my own experiences with my amazing country. My father wrote about many of the beautiful places and people that you talk about and it made me remember his deep love for our extraordinary country. Thank you for your generosity. I will share this with everyone I know.
Thank you so much Luis! I love knowing about your father, he seems like an extraordinary guy. Thank you so much for your sweet words and generosity, I am very grateful!
Wow, that was wholesome, as a Mexican, this is absolutely fantastic in so many ways! As a Thank you, we'll make sure the gets seen by millions down here. Consider adding Spanish subtitles cause this is about to get crazy. Gracias
I realized you can add the Spanish subtitles on UA-cam by clicking the "CC" button and then clicking the settings (gear icon) and changing it to Spanish. Let me know if you think this is sufficient! Thank you again!
What a beautiful tribute to Mexico and it's people. We moved here a year ago, as we fell in Love with the country and all of it's wonderful people. Thank you for expressing in your video exactly how we feel too, it's a wonderful video, great job!
What a beautiful video, letter and message... you are so right about what you say in the message- we all need that these days. Thank you for posting this! ❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you, from me and the millions of Canadians who consider Mexico our "11th province" (only better). THAT is how I've felt about Mexico since a quick Spring-break roadtrip there, as an 18 year old, nearly 45 years ago. Since then, I've driven to Mexico from Canada in the 70s,80s, 90s and 2010. I've lived in Mexico City, spent time in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Ensenada, and Xalapa. And, of course, beach resorts on both coasts. But I've never yet experienced the pleasure of riding a motorcycle there, and that's something I need to address. And maybe I'll do that as a resident next. Your video jarred my memory after suffering through these hideous, tyrannical lockdowns and travel restrictions. Time to start planning again! And thanks again for showing the world what a wonderful country we (Canadians and Americans) have to the south. Good luck heading south. I'll be following you online :)
Wow Brian that is so cool to hear! I love that you have such a long relationship with Mexico and you have lived in so many places, so cool and beautiful! It’s such a pleasure to know how the feeling about the country is so widely felt by us expats. Congrats on your residency, how cool! And if you do get to motorcycling you’ll have to let me know! Big hug
We just drove our camper van from Toronto, Canada to Bucerias which is our new winter home. We arrived yesterday. The idea is to use this as a base to Explore the magical country in depth. Our experience mirrors yours and I thank you for the images and words that capture that magic so well.
That is so awesome, congratulations! I went to Bucerias, such a cool and beautiful spot and so much to explore around there!! Enjoy! Thanks for the note!
Tammy, I loved this video and couldn't agree with you more. Mexico and the people of Mexico are wonderful. I will be forwarding this to others. Thank you for putting so many of my thoughts into words and pictures. Enjoy your travels.
Tammy, you have been so kind and nice to my Country that made me proud of being Mexican God Bless you for this One question: Did you use a dron to film those air videos/ pics? Who operated it? It seemed to me that you travel alone Awaiting to your comments Best Regards Carlos
I now have 24 years in Mexico! You nailed it MindBodyGirl. I love Mexico too and Mexico has always accepted me as is to which I am grateful....a beautiful love letter! Amazing!
Hello Motogirl !! I’m Mexican and can’t understand how you never popped up in my feed. I follow itchy boots, Charly Sinewan, these are other moto bloggers. It’s so sad that I never got to follow your journey in real time. Thanks for your lovely words.Te queremos mucho gringa hermosa.
@JG saludos hermano. Yo también radico en USA y también voy conociendo de mi país a través de estos vídeos. Yo si viajo seguido a Mexico, pero me falta mucho por conocer.
Aw thank you! I'm fairly new to the UA-cam world so I don't think my videos get recommended as often (yet!), thanks so much for the kind words (a few more Mexico videos before I officially cross the border!) lol. Thanks so much for the note, big hug!
Entering my 20th year in Mexico after leaving Boston, I gotta say you expressed your feelings better than I could. Your video brought a tear of gratitude to my eye. Thanks!
What a beautiful video and message! I grew up freely crossing from Texas to Mexico and back to Texas. I miss it all and although I’ve seen the news reports, when watching or reading accounts by people visiting or living there, there is so much joy and love. Thank you for your video.
Love this letter to Mexico.. All the way from the bottom of your heart! If you focus on the good more good comes to you ! Yes!!! Everything always is working out for us! Keep on riding Tammy! You are the best!
Thanks so much for your message! We are going to settle in Mexico this year, but I had lots of fear and resistance about it. I have been staying in Cuernavaca since the end of January to learn Spanish and discover at least a little bit of Mexico before moving here definitively from Switzerland and much of my fear and resistance have already dissolved; much love has emerged instead. So I am grateful for your contribution, which helps this love grow. ❤🇲🇽
This makes me very happy to hear! Congratulations on finding your new home and so lovely to hear you have been able to experience the incredible warmth and love that is there. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing!
"Focus on the positive and not be a match to the negative." What a beautiful love letter! Has touched me to my core..I too share her sentiment. 💌 I'm looking so forward to my new life in Mexico starting next year as a retiree; I look forward to falling deeply in love with 🇲🇽.
That is where our power lies! Thank you so much, I am SO pleased and excited for you, with that one line you will experience an expansion of love and joy there, its incredible. Thank you!
@@MindBodyMotoGirl I was just thinking about this video again! Wondering how long it took you to write it, as I suspect it went through multiple iterations before it was finalized?
@@f00fak Aw that’s sweet! Wildly enough this was one of the easiest ones to write! There’s a line in the video where I say something like “its bursting at the seams and I can’t leave the country without saying it,” well that’s how I felt about writing it, like it was bursting out of me. So it was really kind a brain dump and then once over to refine it!
We toured Mexico on motorcycles as well and like you, we really fell in love with this country and its people. One of the very few countries we visited where people were actually thanking us to visit. Quite unbelievable ! We agree with you that you need to put your fears away and not listen to the bad stories. Very nice video and text you wrote ! thank you for sharing.
LOVE THIS!! We've lived here in Mexico for 12 years now and I totally feel the same way - it's the people who ARE this country: kind, loving, embracing, joyful and always will go out of their way to help without asking. And they've taught me patience, above all else. And to be more kind, not sweat the small stuff, and that everything will eventually turn out ok. Valuable shifts in thinking. Thank you for this beautiful love letter to Mexico - best of luck on your continuing journey!
Thank you so mucho for your wonderful review and declaration of Love to Mexico, your trip and the way you shared and expressed your experience truely moved me, I live in Mexico, I love motorcycles, I have made one or more bike trips every year in the las 18 years or so and so many times if I had listened to the news papers or to peoples warnings I would have stayed home... Thank God I always trusted we would be ok I hope your words and magic travel the horizons, and awaken many hearts
That is so beautiful to hear, thank you! Too cool that you have done so many moto trips, I love it!! And so happy knowing you had similar experiences and listening to gut and trusting, there is so much magic in it. Thank you for sharing!
We did the same thing, Toured Mexico without plans and off the beaten path. Everyone we met. Are you thirsty? Come in let me feed you. Having rode 1/3 of the earth, I have never seen such hospitality,
The only thing I can say is THANK YOU!! thank for sharing all this incredible facets of my beautiful country that are sometimes forgotten as you said because of negativity…you are so gifted, the way you were able to feel and share all this is amazing you were able to capture and transmit every single detail about how we and our country are! Mexico is son diverse that there’s no way to get bored, food, music, mountains, rivers, beaches, people, deserts….wow!!, Thank you so much Tammy!!! Enjoy your next trip! PS-if you come back we’ll be more than glad to host you in cancun!!
Wow thank you Lucia!! This was such a beautiful note to receive! Thanks for taking the time to write and I feel very humbled and honored to know that the words did some justice so such an incredible place. Thank you!
Love it :) I’ve been riding around PV area for 1.5 years also, and I agree with everything you said. I also have ridden to many of the same places I saw in your video :)
What a beautiful letter ❤. Most of the people are humble, I remember my grandfather will always be telling my grandmom. Wife please make a bread with beans for this guy or this woman because they are hungry. They might not be rich financially but for sure they are rich in doing good thing for other from their heart… they not let you go with hunger if you are hungry. Beans and Chile but they will feed you 🌸
Hello! just come back from Mexico where i was exploring with my 4x4 for 8 months , come back to Vancouver just to upgrade my car for trip to far south. You are so right about Mexico , i love this country , im coming back in January , funny when people ask me about it , i just realize that most of them know about Mexico from staying in hotels . I was so happy and pleased watching your story. The way you experience Mexico and the faith you placed in yourself travelling along trough my country of birth, hopefully will ensure others to have faith and look for the positive experiences when being there. When that happens, as it happens to you, so many beautiful things are there to be discovered. Thanks for loving Mexico and sharing your love for the people and the landscape and their communities!
Your video brought tears to my eyes. I’m Mexican-American and love Mexico. I’ve traveled it from north to south, have lived by choice in many parts. I try to explain to people the beauty of the country and the culture but many times their pre-conceived notions get in the way of them understanding. Your video captures every reason I love this country. ❤
As an Indian who has been to a few places in Me(h)ico... I can vouch for all your words. This video is a tribute to every Mexican.. i mean it would pump up my chest with pride if I was one myself !! Just spell bound with your flow and choice of words... Simply awe inspiring and heartwarming !! God Bless you my dear.... Cheers !! ❤❤🫰🫰😇
Dear Tammy thank you so much for you lovely video! I’am a Civil Engineer 56 years old and your kind words made me cry. I have the same love for my country and I will be sharing it with my wife, kids and friends. Please feel the same energy and love back, you have touched my heart ❤
Tammy I got to watch your video from my sisters friend who send it to her, 3 proud Mexicans women 😊and I forwarded to another group of friends and family. I got to tell you girl that when I watched with my sister we both were balling you mades us feel so loved and Thank you for this tribute to Mexico, not only my country but yours also and everyone who’s willing to get to know Mexico the way you did. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words full of love and gratitude to my people specially. Yes mexicans have so much love to give, I myself feel so proud to be mexican and my people. Come back to Mexico and know that you’ll always have a place here in every single corner of our 32 states forever. Tammy again thank you thank you 🙏🏼 good bless you always and go with you anywhere you and your motorcycle go. Greeting from Cabo San Lucas Mexico 🇲🇽Baja California Sur 🏄🏻♀️
Hi Carla! This was such a beautiful message to receive, thank you so much for sharing, I got goosebumps reading and I cried! The greatest gift I didn't know I've receive is knowing that Mexicans feel loved from watching the video, it is only a small token to what I received so it makes me feel so happy to know. Thank you so much for your beautiful words and for being who you are as you and as a culture. Big hugs!
I love your bravery for traveling Mexico on your own and on a motorcycle. They terrify me 🤭 You have lots of courage and prove Mexico is not the very dangerous country the press makes it out to be. Thank you for proving a woman on her own can travel freely and have a great time. Traveling alone as a woman is one of the greatest adventures and self knowing things we can do. As a Mexican woman who very much enjoys traveling on her own, i am awed by your journey and I congratulate you for embarking on this wonderful adventure. Thank you and VIVA MÉXICO, CABRONES!!
haha ☺️ yes, its so wild that the story that is told is so opposite. Thank you so much, it has been a grand pleasure and I'm just grateful and humbled.
Tammy, I love your tribute to Mexico! We lived in Zihuatanejo Mexico for a year back in the 90's and I hope to go back for a visit some day. I look forward to hearing more of your adventures...Blessed Be
Bonitas palabras, puras palabras de corazón. Thank you for sharing, and for putting into words how I feel about this amazing place and it's wonderful people. I have been guiding motorcycle riders around baja for many years. You are so right on with your analogy of traveling in mexico on a motorcycle. Gracias hermosa.
muchas gracias! 🤗💜 I am so happy to hear it that, thanks so much, and it's too cool what you do, sharing the magic of a magical place on moto! Nothing cooler! Thank you!
@@MindBodyMotoGirl it is so true what you said about the group of motorcycle riders that camped right next to you, instead of in a different location. This happens all the time to us in mexico. Strange to my friends from the US, but totally normal to my friends in Mexico.
Wowwww Tammy what a wonderful way of describing our beautiful Country and it’s people, pure Love, pure Joy, selfless way of sharing Life. Thank you!! And yes .. I cried because I’m happy, there is beauty and Love and let’s focus on that. ❤
So so beautiful MotoGirl. I’m travelling mexico for 1 year, for the 4th time and you ARE RIGHT! Mexico it’s a life school for the ones who come with open heart. Keep going girl. I’ll follow from now and support you. Let me know if you need anything. Love to you ❤
That is so cool to hear Liza! And so perfectly put, it is life school! Thanks so much for the encouragement. And very cool to know you are traveling too, and thank you for the support, I am now following you too! Please also let me know if there is anything I can help with. Big hug! 🤗
Tearful and appreciative of your share!! After becoming Mexican residents in April 2018 and making our home in San Miguel de Allende while exploring this marvelous country, we too had the types of experiences you have, albeit not on a motorcycle. Our best wishes as you continue on your beautiful and thought-provoking journey. Well done!
Dude! So so great...thank you thank you thank you. I'll be sharing this first with my mother inlaw who will worry when we head back "home" to Mexico for winter next week. I'm currently planning a moto camping trip for next winter so I will be watching all your other vids. I would also love to share this with our Mexican friends and extended family. Have you considered doing an edit replacing your lovely English text with the Spanish translation? Please : )
I love that idea! Thank you! YES, I will look into that! And so many cool things to hear, so cool that your will share with your friends and family, and I love knowing that it could provide a different perspective for those that worry when you head to Mexico, I hope it helps highlight how it really is, and too cool that you will be moto camping! Please feel free to reach out if I can help with anything!
@@MindBodyMotoGirl I've subscribed to your channel so I will see when you post an edited version with Spanish. I know for sure it will bring huge traffic to your channel. Really look forward to sharing that...Mexicans will love it. Some of our Mexican friends even question why we return to Mexico again and again. They truly don't understand how awesome their country is because they have never traveled.
@@KS-sh4xn Thank you so much. I'm so grateful for the inspiration to make a Spanish edit, it's now on my list! It brings me so much joy that this love for Mexico can be spread, it's only a small token of what I have received. Thanks so much for the idea and inspiration!
Wow what a point of view about Mexico. The Mexicans that see this surely will be feel proudly and exited for all the things you lived here. I would like more Mexicans can appreciate this country as you. Thank you so much o for your beautiful words and God bless your way
Wow thank you for shearing this beautiful journey, is a beautiful history and it remains me that happiness is the simple things in life and we should enjoy every moment, life is to short I love mexico.
Wow! tu carta ha tocado mi corazón, y si lo toca mis ojos se llenan de lagrimas , no se porque, bueno si se, porque tu carta es amor. Gracias por mostrarnos cosechar amor en tierras mexicanas. Gracias , gracias, gracias!
Thank you! We feel exactly the same after living in Mexico for the past several years. Your thoughts totally resonate with us. Beautiful expression of your thoughts and experiences.
Beautiful story, beautiful sentiments, and thank you for sharing a story that is contrary to the single story of Mexico that the U.S. media promotes as poor, violent, and corrupt. Your gaze is beautiful. On a more technical note, your shots are beautiful. Did you have a drone with you? I'm trying to figure out how you shot many of these scenes.
Thank you so much, Tammy!! Beautiful content and your words, the way you express your feelings: Simply Amazing ... This is the first time I watch one of your vids but I am sure this one will eventually become Viral!! God·speed Tammy (A guy moving back to Mexico soon) ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
@@MindBodyMotoGirl Thank you Tammy!! Good luck on your wonderful adventures and Mexico will be waiting for you on your way back. Seems to me this is a culture that is truly alive and in touch with life. You are so lucky to have experienced that magic. So glad you had the eyes to see and the mind to understand what you were seeing. 🙏💞🇦🇺
Thank you Tammy for doing this. My Mom introduced me to your videos and I lost it when I saw images of Mazamitla because that's where she retired to. Thank you for loving Mexico because Mexico loves you too.
I live here in Mexico, but, yes being "positive" is of course important, and knowing the challenges and dangers is also important. You must listen to the advice you get, and consider it valuable as, there are SOME warnings that will keep you from greater risk, like not traveling a night, being aware of your circumstances, etc etc. To simple "NOT SPEAK of these things actually helps one to ignore sound and helpful awareness etc. Make good decisions, minimize risk and be aware of your surroundings by paying attention. Thank you for your great video. Prudence and caution enable rewarding and safe adventures.
Yes I agree! This brings up something good to clarify, the importance is to not place focus on something unwanted, like repeating stories etc..., what you focus on grows. If someone directly gives you a warning, for sure head, and always follow your intuition. But there is no need to repeat fearful things or place your focus in fear, only brings more of it. Thanks for the words!
WOW That was powerful I have owned 14 motorcycles and I was debating about going down to baja with my small travel trailer and my 130 pound dog and fear has held me back, very inspiring, amazing production!
Wow 🤩 This is very inspiring. So beautiful. Also recognizable with “southern” countries. Officially they say people are poor, but they are so rich in things that matter. Getting emotional Thanks 🙏
Yes ~ Yes ~ Yes ~ So beautifully said. What a great tribute to this magnificent country. And, thank you for reminding us again that what we focus on, e x p a n d s and that words create. May your journey be filled with unexpected joys and pleasures. Thank you.
Thank you for talking about us from a loving perspective. Thank you for visiting us and letting you the opportunity of living us from our roots and culture. As you said, México 🇲🇽 is more than huge resorts, ruins, history and beaches. Traveling as a local gave you a different cosmovision of our culture and soul. Thank you for remind me that we need to live grateful and focusing on the positive side of our lives, here and now. Receive a huge hug from Xalapa, Veracruz. Thank you Tammy.
OMG! As a Mexican living in Canada, this is the most beautiful love letter written to my country. It made me cry so much. Sometimes it is hard to express to others specially those with a close mind what Mexico means beyond "bad hombres", Cartel and corruption but your video says it all. Thank you, thank you. I will share your channel with everyone I know to support your beautiful journey. Blessings from my heart and sou to yoursl. 🤗❤️🙏
Thank you so much for sharing your story and experience. Mexico truly is one of the most amazing places with the greatest people one could ever encounter. Your eloquent description is perfect. 🤗
Just a bit of background about myself. Prior to covid I spent more time on two wheels than off of two wheels. A short motorcycle ride would be 5K. Living that life, you know the blessings that occur. Just prior to covid I started working with friends in the mountain villages close to Galeana. These remote villages often use the Sun as their electricity. They have nothing and will give all. Then covid, we could not travel to these areas because we had no identification that said we live there. Their way of controlling covid. However having my main residence in Texas, I found myself often migrating to the people that are recent immigrants or first generation from Mexico. I have quite a few American friends. But there is nothing like the friends from down south. I was always encouraged by them, if you need some place to go please visit my family in this city or in that city. So that's what I started doing. It is so powerful. Impossible to explain to someone who has not lived that experience or believes everything they hear. Then your video I came across last night. I had recently decided to ride one of my motorcycles to Mexico. Kind of have a second residence in Guanajuato. I love hiking in the mountains of GTO. I have watched no telling how many travel videos on UA-cam. I love music so the TV is only turned on for UA-cam music videos and travel videos. Never could have imagined that your video was going to show up on my screen. Last night I had decided I would seek videos that would reinforce my thoughts on riding a motorcycle to Mexico. That is the part of my life that I am missing a bit, being on 2 wheels. There is no comparison to your video. The most powerful, truth and informative video I have ever watched. It's almost like you and I have talked and everything I say about Mexico and try to validate Mexico with whomever I meet and why I'm stuck in Mexico. It is impossible turn your back on these people. The heart and soul of this nation is not easily seen. Unless you venture. I watch your video and I have to pause it. There are tears streaming from my eyes making it impossible to watch clearly. Even now thinking about what I watched last night, the emotions come right back to the surface. You absolutely get it! Some people get it a little bit, but you have embraced this country and these wonderful people in a way that few others have. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I now have a video that I can share to explain why I can't leave Mexico. "I Love Mexico" Thank You, Steve
Wow Steve!! I am absolutely full of chills reading this. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and share your experience. There is something so so powerful about art and how it reaches people in perfect time. When I wrote/created this video, it felt like it just wrote itself right through me and when I read messages like this, it just leaves me in absolute aw about the perfection and timing. Your story is so cool and beautiful to read and I am so so happy to hear you following your heart as well. And btw if you end up in GTO I imagine you will meet JD! An American moto guy from Austin who lives there now, hosts many motorcyclist, very kind and generous person, and has also motorcycled around MX extensively. Thanks again for your message and your gift!! I really appreciate them both. Big hugs!!
@@MindBodyMotoGirl thanks Moto girl. It's an incredible gift that you gave me and so many others I'm certain period instead of trying to enlighten most people than I know, who know apparently I have gone off the tracks I can now simply share your video and explain to them your video is speaking in such a way that I would speak explaining just how beautiful the people of Mexico and the country of Mexico is. Also love the way that you do not dismiss that there are issues but one should not on that or pass it on. Again thank you regarding Moto in GTO. I am part of a couple of different hiking clubs. One of the clubs president is JD. I would be very much interested in a connection with JD. Just in the last few days I picked up a couple of bikes that was in for maintenance. The second one I rode home yesterday morning. During the ride back to the property, I realized that I really need to ride a bike down to Mexico and leave. Talking with a good friend locally earlier today I had officially decided to do so. He himself is about to ride down through Mexico. And I have been in Mexico a few times helping out villagers when we would build for them. He explained it's about time. And mentioned that I should reach out to sources that have the knowledge. If maybe you could pass on my info or provide me his info, that would be super. He sounds like the knowledge I need. Please take care. Ride safe. And be who you are!
@@okieboom1 I am so happy to hear 🙌🏼 That might just be the same JD! I think you may get along well, you have a bit in common from what I know already. JD made the official move from Texas to GTO a few years ago so I’m sure he has a bunch of tips. I don’t think he has instagram but he is JD Dyess on Facebook and if you want to send me an email at hello@mbmotogirl.com I will happily send an intro email to connect you two. He’s a great guy and loves to host motorcyclist in GTO
Hope all is well. I'm sorry I haven't followed up with JD just yet have become busy with projects at the property in Texas. Evidently in the back of my mind hides your video. Was just talking with a friend in Mexico. And realizing I hadn't sent her your video. Somehow of all the people that I should have sent it to, it didn't make it to her. She grew up in Puebla and now call GTO home. Just like everybody else in Mexico super proud of their country and loyal. I pulled up your video and shared it with her then once again you captured my mind. Very few Americans get it . Please never take down the video. It's my go-to when I try to explain how special Mexico is. Instead of trying to go through all of the details what's a different person each time, I can just share your video. Saying that is me except she is a lady and this is how I feel. Thank you Tammy.
@@okieboom1 It makes me so so happy to hear these stories, thank you for taking the time to share it with me! It’s such a beautiful thing to know and be a part of and I’m so glad it is helpful in expressing what makes Mexico so special. Don’t worry, I will never take it down! Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
Well, you are just amazing. Thank you for sharing this. Also, now that I have seen a few of your videos, I know that the "lime in the coconut" is a real thing! Great job.
I co-sign your message. ❤ You wonderfully captured visually and with words this beautiful and magnificent country.❤ I moved to Merida, Mexico in 2020, and Playa Del Carmen in 2021. Mexico welcomed me with opened arms, for that I am grateful. I look forward to exploring more of its wonderful treasures. ¡VIVA MÉXICO🇲🇽
Aw that is so cute and sweet, thanks of rite co-sign! So awesome that you have lived there so some time and in two different places. It really is incredible the welcome and warmth received as a foreigner which I'm also forever grateful. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
Very sweet, and makes me shake up some of my thinking about Mexico. I've been going there for about 11 winters in a row, and wondering how I feel about the some of the negative stuff I've run into. I assume you are fluent in Spanish, and I know that would be so helpful. I'm maybe halfway there, but I need much more so I can really connect with people. Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for this. Buen viaje, Tammy!
Thank you so much, that is so cool to hear and so amazing to hear about your time spent in Mexico and desire to learn more Spanish, I have been so impressed with how forgiving and encouraging everyone while learning, my Spanish is conversational but I still have lots to learn. Thank you for the lovely words!
Thank you so much! It's so nice to hear that it touched you. Absolutely, the faith continues to deepen! 🤗💜

Thank you!!

You are an angel on 2 wheels. It is so touching the way you talk about Mexico, your love and thoughts.
Aw so sweet of you to say, thank you Diana!! 💜
Aw that is so beautiful, Tarra, and so cool to hear your experience! Thank you!
Here, in México, we used yo say: " my home is your home", and it's true. But the entire world is our home. Let make of it a wonderful one. God bless you! With love, from México, to you.
I love this Antonio. What a beautiful sentiment. Thank you so much! Abrazos!
You made me cry like a little boy. Thank you... I love my country too... Have nice trip to Chile 🥲
Hahaha that so touching!! And it gives me goosebumps to know! Thank you so much
So thoughtful and poignant.
Gracias
Aw thank you so much! I love that suggestion! I still feel new to UA-cam, so I will look into how to add them! Thank you!

What a beautiful video, letter and message... you are so right about what you say in the message- we all need that these days. Thank you for posting this! ❤
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your words!

That is so lovely to hear, thank you for sharing Michael!
Thank you so much! Yes it was done with a drone!
What a heartwarming and lovely video about a country i love. -Marc

Aw thank you so much! Vive Mexico!!!! 💜
Excellent summary of Mexico. Your love letter to Mexico is so true . Ride Safe amiga😊
Thank you so much, Bob!
Great video, and a pleasure to meet you! I hope see you again! Cheers from Pachuca!!!
Aw thank you and likewise!! Big hug
¡Gracias!
Gracias a ti!
WOW That was powerful I have owned 14 motorcycles and I was debating about going down to baja with my small travel trailer and my 130 pound dog and fear has held me back, very inspiring, amazing production!
WHAT! 14! TOO cool!!! I am excited for you and your dog! Such a magical place, Baja
That was BEAUTIFUL! I hear and feel what you're saying. I can't wait to experience it for myself. Thank you for sharing!

Wow 🤩 This is very inspiring.
So beautiful.
Also recognizable with “southern” countries.
Officially they say people are poor, but they are so rich in things that matter.
Getting emotional
Thanks 🙏
Aw yes that’s beautiful, true wealth is different than we’ve been made to believe!

Thank you so much for sharing your story and experience. Mexico truly is one of the most amazing places with the greatest people one could ever encounter. Your eloquent description is perfect. 🤗
Thank you so much! I so happy to hear it resonated!
❤❤❤ what a great tribute to my favorite place. You are so wise and thougtful for your years. Live the love viva Mexico

Hahaha that's too funny, I'm only now realizing the song! 😂😂😂 It is seriously SO good! Thank you so much 💜
I co-sign your message.
And anyone living in Mexico has fallen in love with you…
Thanks for such a beautiful video!
Aw thank you so much 🥰💜💜💜
Very sweet, and makes me shake up some of my thinking about Mexico.
Gracious truthful words Tammy! Seeing it through your eyes! Thank You.
Thank you so much!!
