I like this video and I appreciate you posting it. I've been riding since I was a little kid all over the world.. I would recommend to ever buy a Chinese bike. also do not buy that small purple dirt bike especially if you're going to be touring for a long ride

Wife and 5 year old just got back from Mexico mainly in Yucatán. My son learned to swim there, jumped into senotes, played on the beach and met a beautiful little 6 year old girl who became Instant best friends with. I’m Latino and I get it. It’s easy to fall in love with a country. I miss the lady knowing me by my first name at the bakery having my coffee and biscocho ready for me like clockwork. I miss people looking at you In the EYES saying “Buenos Dias” and not looking at the ground like everyone in NY does. The way people put their hand on their heart and say “a su servicio” while they lower their head a little. I too am from NY and I’m sorry, but there is no romanticism there. Latin America bleeds passion and romance and family. That’s just how we are. I’m jealous of your trip. I live in KY now and hope to take my Tiger out one day to make an adventure like this. You’re a brave soul. Que Dios te bendiga.

Haha (a foodie here!) had you kept going the same main road, you could have made it to Encarnación, and even from Zimapán towards the mountains, there's a place call Xajhá, like Tolantongo but less accessible and because of it,less touched by humans! Hope you go back!

I love DR because of the people. There are rotten apples in the bag as well, just like any other country, but in general people are super friendly. I spent part of my childhood there, and I remember how they teach kids to receive tourists with open arms and a smile.
