I'm convinved TGC is biased with the match coverage. It's absurd.
They had announced right at the beginning of this tournament that they'll cover only the India, Pakistan, England and Australia matches.
So don't expect them to cover matches of other teams when these 4 teams aren't involved.
Forget about Nepal they didn't even cover any South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies matches.

@@nya078 well, a final is a final so obviously they'll cover the final of a Cricket World Cup regardless of the teams involved in it.
They'll cover both the Semifinals and the final. My point was about the group stage and the Super 8 stage.

Must be the only world competition where teams can get knocked out by the weather. It's absurd there is no contingency. The game in Antigua today had to be finished by 16.45. Why? We have T20 games STARTING at 19.00 in the UK this and other evenings. Why not have spare days on which games can be rescheduled (as the football WC does)? The ICC are adding more teams to grow the sport but this nonsense turns me off (and I love cricket) so god knows how someone new to the sport sees it

Australian cricketers have played with the knowledge that if they lose any match ever there will be royal commissions, Argus reports and full scale investigations after a loss.
Does that mean this Australian side are the best placed side to deal with today's game against Scotland. Given the fact there will be full scale Argus reports and royal commissions if Australia win (and let England through) and there will also be ICC investigations for match fixing and match manipulation if Australia lose. So how do you think the Australians will deal with reports/commissions surrounding them from both angles no matter the result?
Completely agree with all you've said. I just don't feel it's right for a World Cup to be so dependent on the weather ... gotta be a better way!! Scotland were great ! There are a few things I don't like tbh ... Cricket is losing a bit if its integrity. . All good stuff!! Really cool video !!

On the rain: "number of wins" should be replaced by "number of losses" as a tie breaker. You shouldn't be penalised twice for having a rained off match, only if you got out there and lost.
It is a little bit different to Australia in 2022, they got hammered by NZ, and the rained off game was against a team in better form. England would have been knocked out with rain offs against Scotland and Namibia

If Scotland wins this, the tsunami of angry tears and cries of match fixing from England fans will be so sweet that I might just get diabetes and lose a foot.
