FYI on the Hidetsugu and Kairi: there's a 10 mana deal 10 to any target card that can be played with it that would deal 20 to ya on the last game, but you had 1) the first strike and 2) the wandering emperor for +2 life anyway, so no risk at all whatsoever.
I built this deck in Arena and so far it seems enjoyable. Modified it slightly by adding three Metropolis Angel cards and taking out one Wandering Emp, one Elspeth, and one Adeline (mainly because I didn't have the amount required and didn't want to spend the wildcards). Thanks for sharing!
Was playing a version of this, with some Experimental Augury and Serum Snare, both awesome with Duelist. Also: Kodama, Gala Greeters, and Bloated Contaminator are pretty good
Hey, @Swayze! Nice content, I appreciate your deck-building skills. Can you, please, tell me which of the new decks (that you have seen/tried anyway) is the most "non-linear"? I'm looking for a deck that is fun to pilot because every match plays differently, forcing me to make actual decisions (rather than just, you know, play on surve and hope for the best). I have watched all the videos, but I can't really answer that myself, because I'm not very experience. I would love to hear your recommendation.
LOVE watching interactions between like Ozolith and the Brawler. Super fun deck to watch when you get a 20/20 Lifelink Vigilance Flying First Striker 😂
I used some of the same cards. A little different because I used some low cost flyers too. Angels… I used wrenn, Ajani, elspeth and jace. Hitting wren’s ultimate is easy and makes playing any planeswalker from the graveyard oppressive. Especially Elspeth. I did have Jugan in my build but removed it
Great stuff!! Have a timing question if possible. Two Tribute to the World Tree out and i cast Titanias command choosing 2 2/2 bears and putting 2 +1/+1 counters on each creature i control. Do i get 2 8/8s or 2 4/4s and am drawing 4 cards??
I think you'll draw 4 n have two 4/4's as I assume the command will trigger first on arena. I'm basing this on the fact I managed to flip invasion of innistrad with two world trees out n got two 4/4 zombies n drew 2 cards. Which I thought was odd as I'd assumed I'd get two 6/6's.
Your mono red opponent waiting until you're at 62 life with a 20/20 flying/vigilance/first strike/lifelink creature and THEN going "huh maybe I should scoop" was hilarious to me.
Great work on this deck! It never gets old watching swayze play so conservative that he misses lethal. Also, not sure why you didn’t attack with the duelist if you were just going to pop indestructible anyways! 😂
17:09 that person was obviously disrespectful, and I think people like that can ruin the mood and experience, but I’m sure they were unhappy. They were probably on a losing streak and looking for a win, and they probably ragequit.

I have been having success with GW Artifacts with Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. You can get turn 4 wins with this deck, very exciting.

Definitely the right call to drop the planeswalkers to the Sheoldred instead of your creature!

This is a fun deck. In Bo1 it is a Mono-Red magnet though so be ready for that.

opponent scooped but it was exact lethal, with duelist attacking opponent would had 2 or 3 hp depending on the block.

It's a Bug, when you concede the Game at the Moment the damage is calculated. It counts the Damage twice.
