Game one +1/1 counter from Emperor on Halana would have been lethal a turn earlier. Playing myself I most likely would have missed it too. As always great content - keep up the great work. You deserve a lot more subs!!

Hey Swayze, "All Will Be One" works with battle counters! You need to check it out. Didn't see it in your gameplay so I didn't know if you happened to come across it yet.
I've been playing a modified list for a while and also find Naya has been really nice! I've run with kodama of the west, Arlin, Shivan Devastator, Thundering raiju. Lots of really nice creatures that fit in
Working on a deck that I haven’t seen anyone using yet. It has surprised me so far but trying to tweek it some. Heliod and Esika. It ties hands behind opponent’s back and has a lot of card advantage.
I absolutely love this deck! I made a Selesnya version with the Kami that gives additional +1 as well but this seems more solid with red added I like it.
I don't get the duellist !! I tried him in a vampire deck and alot of things that were giving him counters weren't triggering his draw. Gift of fangs, wedding announcement, Edgar, the orzov battle that gives +1 when attacking .. plus a number of others just didn't work. You would think that Edgar and duellist would be a no brainer !
I think you could probably cut 1 or 2 halanaas for doomskar warriors, it doesnt give as many counters but it does give card draw WITH card selection and its ability sort of has haste through the backup mechanic.
You in total run 18 creatures. Thats also not taking into account that you have to have a creature in play and then the doomskar. Hitting creatures is low odds. Hitting a land is very meh. Notable they are both horrible against removal and both get better with the turns they are in play. It is probably better to cut a kalanaa for something like boon-bringer. A card that helps against the aggro decks and that will also end the game against midrange decks.
@@itsthekid9815 Assuming you have pulled a normal amount of cards from you deck up to that point, you have an 85% chance of hitting AT LEAST one creature if hitting for 5 damage, which to me is great odds. I've been running gruul agro on ladder and the only scenario where I don't have a creature in play is only post boardwipe.
Furthermore, I can usually use the backup to either push more damage if they're tapped out by giving a chonker trample, or if I think they have removal put it on a smaller creature they dont want to block or remove like a flipped komano.
I'm telling you from experience the way this card plays out is you either push damage and draw a card or push damage and force suboptimal trades/removal.
I should also note it synergizes insanely well WITH Halana & Alena.
Fun looking deck! Can't wait to try it. Shuffler is absolutely trash since the new update.
I made my on virsion of this deck and o found that Hopful initiat or other creature whith training and botanical browler are a great combo
Feels like 1 or 2 Bloated Contaminators would fit in nicely.

there are too many good cards for this deck rn I don't know what to play haha, for example Quirion Beastcaller and Bloated Contaminator (contaminator is nutty with hot spring and counters, esp w ozolith out) then you have options like Kodama, idk like i said too many good cards haha. I also play Kami's flare in a lot of Gruul aggro decks w modified critters, seems good too, idk maybe too slow or doesnt benefit our All Will Be One and our Duelist
game 1 you missed lethal 4:58 halana gives haste so if u just played another dusk or created a 2/2 with emperor that would have been 14 dmg to win
not using Evolving Spinoderm here is a big miss, have a huge success with him in my variant of this, sinergy with both Monke enchant and all will be one
