I think I finally managed to get rid of the Audio Desynch issues I have been having with this game. I also cut out a rather lengthy segment of grinding points... - Ігри
The person who created this game was definitely on drugs
@Fishi Productions It's so trippy.
no
Was just thinking the same thing
CALM DOWN IT'S FOOL IT'S NOT PALYSTATION 4 EDITION YO💯
He was eating rotisserie chicken
Rented this game from Blockbuster back in 1995.Most frustrating game ever.
Only reason I thumbs down is because CLEARLY you never played Contra: Hardcore....or like the NES version of ghost busters 2. Lmfao at least THIS game had a tangible end and you could at least guess HOW to win
i used to play it and yes it was frustrating, it felt so weird playing it it was difficult and boring, but sometimes me and my brother didn't have too many games so we always went back to this one, one time we decided to finish it and we did!
LOL
@@huntingfashiondolls3307 oh how many times this was always my last resort
As a kid this game made me angry
The hardest game ever. I didn't know what I was doing, what to do, etc. All I did was do whatever and never finished the game. But I love it still, the nostalgia is so strong
Yeah it was a tough one. I can't recall if I ever finished it.
we were all in the same boat! Us 90s kids didn't have it easy at all, but for some reason this game was so fun lol even if I didn't understand anything. Why the gum balloon?? Why the muscial notes??! Do I have to go left or right?? ARgggh hahaha
X2
I'm 33, I remember being sleepy for school cus I played this all night. Don't think I completed it.
Me too!!!! I’m 33 as well

You didn’t beat this game. It only beat you
Getting busted and chased to bed lol
Seriously one of the top most difficult games I’ve ever played
the first time playing this game compared to any first time games? definitely
@@jodeboyd8386I didn't even know for years that your supposed to jump into the pages and just kept running to the right trying to reach the end of the level but never making it
@@madcap3450 games literally a nightmare first time through. I hate the vacuum that makes that STUPID grin when ambushing which gets 99 percent of first timers on yellow door. Like "DURRRRRRRRRRRRRR??????"
Agreed. Haven't played it in over 25 years, but I gave up in the end. I was 8 but still...
Dark Souls is the hardest game ever
Bart's nightmare: hold my beer

I loved this game in the mid 90s. such a dope eerie vibe. I was like 8 years old in 94 playing this.
id play with my neighbour as like 6 and 7 year olds in 97/98, ya the eerie vibe was so cool
Am I the only one who absolutely loved the music during the bartman part?
the music looks catchy.
Yes, you are.

My brother and I played this when we were three or four, I had no idea what was going on while we played. Watching it at age 23, I see how I couldn't understand what was going on. Watching this makes me feel like I'm on drugs.
Lol since when did Bart care so much about school to stay up doing his homework until he passes out...
Right! He doesn't give a rat's ass about school!
i think it is meant to serve as a reason why. He is up all night fighting his nightmares who steal his homework. Probably drugs fueled the idea tho. Again, this game was weird.
fyi he's not awake he's sleeping the entire time.
Well i played this before the show. But i like this Bart more honestly, a kid who just is kind of doozy but still doesnt wanna fail XD. But just too bad show isnt as good as i pictured it interms of this game and the world in it
you know I was a bum at school...but once in a while (and I mean very very rare) I applied myself and did all my homework and I was very proud of that. So I can relate in some way
Igual yo, jajajaja.

I had this game for SNES as a kid...watching this full walkthrough nowdays...makes me wonder what I even saw in the game hahaha, i dont think I ever beat the game either
Easily one of my favourites as a kid. On the nostalgia wagon.
Ditto
I always hated that you couldn't see how much health you had during the Godzilla part.
I know, it's like it would randomly fade out.
This game was fucking nuts growing up
The music in this game is incredible! Matter of fact, the whole game was incredible! I loved it. You can tell the designers were really trying to do something different instead of just slamming out a quick licensed game. The emulator is screwed up, sounds like some of the sound channels are turned off
I just randomly thought of this game earlier. Have not played or seen it since I was 5 or 6 in the mid nineties. I could never get a single page.
You got farther than me. I didn't even realize that was the objective until now.
I have footage from when I was two playing this game. I remember all of these mini games so clearly especially the itchy and scratchy vacuum stuff and bart as godzilla and barney on his elephant... so great.
grasseyeball me either
@@ingaman lol 😆
I enjoyed this game when I was young. I also loved the Beavis and Butthead game and Jurassic Park for the Genesis. Ahh, good times.
I had this game for snes
God I remember that Beavis and Butthead game. "Alright, GWAR!" Equally crap to this game, yet I played them every weekend.
Absolutely loved this game as a kid, especially the Itchy & Scratchy minigame
I am used to watching this video right away since my older cousin only let me watch him play this game.
Why is this on a mario party 2 minigame music playlist
Love those blast from the past feelings when ya see some thing from ya childhood that ya had forgotten
When I was younger, I felt like I didn't get my $3.75 worth of a weekend rental with this game. Krusty's Super Funhouse is where it's at!
Fantastic game but I could NEVER do Indiana Bart - just did not understand the rock platforms technique... I STILL don't... (Anyone is welcome to explain it...) :-)
Yup same here. No idea.
In addition to the other tips, definitely be careful not to jump on ones that have flames rising beside them because those make them more vulnerable. (not sure if you had figured that out yet, sorry if you already figured out that part)
@@austinrfnd that was a hard one, but once you pay attention you could pass it
The way I remember it is if you stand on a pillar and one of them next to it was burning and you jumped on it you fell to your death and the fact that Maggie spit her pacifier at you didn't help much the eggs you had to collect were hard
Me either! I got all the other pages but those two!
this game is a lot worse than I remember.....lol
@How DAE yew! HOW DAE YEW! what.
@How DAE yew! HOW DAE YEW! I genuinely don’t understand what that comment mean tho
@How DAE yew! HOW DAE YEW! it is tho.
@How DAE yew! HOW DAE YEW! that kinda makes sense.
Same here
Most people, like the guy from the video, don't know that you can step at one platform before where the rubber nipple that Meg shoots gets you, and then press the R button to make her shoot without it hitting you. If we don't know this, it's really hard to get the pages, but knowing this, we can make it every time....
Ye I was thinking that.
I did get that what I don't understand is the pattern of the little flame underneath the rocks
I don't understood this game. It has no Main Menu, no Options, just directly jump into the game without Tutorials and without to know what is to do. The Game itself was really good from the graphics.
In those days, you were expected to read the instruction book.
Before it came out on any platform, it was an arcade game. Pay and play. They literally just took the game as it was and put it onto a console cartridge.
I uderstand the game today... seeing this video... 20 years later... :)
RTFM
This was never in an arcade.
Blue door was the best :'D
It killed my thumb
Lisa at the end looking at Bart's A+ grade like: 👁️👄👁️
She's looking like: wow he got an A+? That's impossible, At least Homer & Marge are happy for him lol
You never rode the basketball skateboard. D:
Right. That’s how you get the zzz’s bracket to extend from one end of the screen to the other if you’re on it long enough. He also made it tougher on himself by not side scrolling the screen to put Bart on one side and not in the middle. I’m amazed he made it through the game without doing that. I know if I didn’t, I’d get hit by everything in the street part of the game.
I like it when one of the people
toss out the Sega Genesis to hit Bart with it.
No kidding, this used to kick my ass so hard when I played it on my SNES, at best I could get maybe a D getting 4 maybe 5 of the pages. With Savestates it was considerably easier to get a good grade (and actually get both pages from the Orange door)
What did he tell you? About the basketball trick to get the skateboard? Man I was like 4 when I first played this, didn't know wtf I was doing 😂
I don’t know if the game is actually hard or it’s just broken gameplay.
@@rabidrabbitshuggers Maybe both
Ah. Sweet memories of a wasted youth.
lol man :D
lol
The Itchy and Scratchy one was my favorite.
This game was so hard especially on the street. But i love this game very much. It is one of my most love American games ever. The characters design and quantities are amazing and they are all make sense. I wrote this game in my English composition contest, the title was "dream" and my paper got a runner up! LOL. my whole paper were full of grammer mistakes, but my teachers just love it.
I played this when I was like four and it got completely erased from my mind. I had to pull this one from DEEP inside my brain
Oh demons! This game!
Yeah, this game... this game wasn't made on acid. This game IS acid. It's also very unforgiving. Not sure why Nostalgia Critic would touch this thing.
I want this game so badly.
You still have a snes?
Oh yes... and even a Nintendo 64.
+Rafael Camargo Urango same
Just download an emulator
My childhood it was like another world. I remember playin this every day in the summer and havin butterfinger bbs
Who's here in the quarantine?!? 😁😆
I never beated that Indiana orange door, and never understood how to avoid falling from the pilars
Oh sweet jesus. Played this at my neighbours house in the irish countryside in the 90s. Good. Fucking. Times.
Brought back so many memories
I can distinctly recall the Bartman BGM from when we played this game at my friend's house.
For some reason I though there was a tomato throwing level. I must be thinking of a different Simpsons game.
I think that was virtual bert.
lol I came here to watch that
That image when Bart is almost dead is scary as hell
@12-String chords when the life meter gets low enough
I was 5 in 97 playing this sweet memories
The sound when Bart jumps is adorable
2019
Frustratingly Awesome!!!!!
I remember my cousins and I playing this game on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive during the 90s, but none of us could get more than 4 pages. After my cousin gave me his Genesis on my birthday, I spent entire days playing the game until I collected all 8 pages and upped my score until I got an A+. I remember I found funny the look on Lisa's face when she saw Bart got an A.
The last time I checked my Genesis it was 2 years ago and it still worked.
aha I still have this game! It was pretty weird but that's what made it fun. Plus it's the Simpsons! They got really carried away with jumping over those Jebediah Springfield heads though goddamn.
Haha awesome to read everyone's comments and relate to this video game. We all could've been bros if we lived in the same town.
Poping bubble gum on the old lady's face was a must...lol
Truth! I always thought that was funny.
I have only ever been able to get 6/8 pages because I couldn't do the Indiana Jones level. Also, you didn't jump in the mud puddle or ride the skateboard from the basketball. Those were some of my favorite parts.
I think this game started my adult blood pressure problem.
I bought this and super Mario bros with the SNES street fighter 2 edition with my 18th birthday money , this was one of the hardest games ever - 30 years later and i can still see that rock level when I close my eyes , the rage I felt when I kept dying was unreal.
I don’t remember the rock 🪨 level in this game & I’ve beaten it
I used to love this game back in the day... The moment you got to the high end of the tower as Bartzilla was always a butt pucker moment.
music & sound effects in this is a bit of a let down but the gameplay looks great - will have to try during the apocalypse
I loved playing this game back in the day . It use to piss me off so much though
krustys super funhouse is a fun game too!!
I rented this game from Blue Lagoon Video back in 92; Memories of me playing it are flooding back to me in my mind; Seems like only yesterday when I was playing this at 7 or 8 yrs. Old
why is it out of sync with the sound?
my sister and me spent hours playing this back when it first came out lol , i thought it was for the sega though?
It is. That's the one I got, but I'm sure it'll plays the same on both systems, that's why I'm trying to look at this walkthrough.
I remember I wanted this game so bad as a kid lol!
I remember renting this game a lot back when i was a kid and this game was hard almost to the point it was unfair. I used to get so frustrated especially in levels where enemies would take away your entire life meter from one hit.
brings back memories, thanks!!
You are right, I never knew about that trick, that would have helped a lot back in the day!
what trick
@@caesaria the Maggie pacifier trick.
@@caesaria I’m guessing that comment came from before UA-cam introduced the reply system we have now.
fun fact: in the overworld part you can find the old woman that turns you into a human if you're in frog state, the thing is, you can shoot her with the watermelon seeds and after 2 shots she'll turn around and leave
So many memories...
I used to play this when I was wayy young. way before it'd time. I love it. 💯
Tá aí um jogo que eu nunca consegui jogar direito, pra falar a vdd não entendi bem a lógica dele
What does the chewing gum do? What's that green thing? Can anyone explain the hole display on the street parts actually. What are the Z's for?
Ooohh this is nostalgic..loved this game as a kid
I remember this game! I don't understand why my parents let me play this game, this is so weird! But I wanna play again.
well its kids friendly go see splatterhouse and technocop to see the difference
favorite childhood game hands down!!
Me too I love the game & Tv 📺 Series & movie 🎥 🍿 🎦 also
I like how you finally just took the left door for the last two pages because fuck it, there's no more other minigames left lol
Bart doing work at his desk...Ha yeah right!
See the episode Bart Gets an F. He also falls asleep at his desk like this too.
i miss this game so much :(
awesome classic show and game great choice ! subbed !
I remember asking for a Simpsons game for my bday, my parents got me this game... we never really liked it that much but played it a lot because we wanted to beat it.... never happened tho lol
@Suzaku000
Tell me about it. I've had a very hard time passing any of the stages in this game.
I played this game as a kid never could beat this now at age 32 still never could figure this damn hell of a nightmare game literally I have a SNES and have this game and spent numerous tries as bartzilla climbing the Empire state building damn mothra and people throwing objects out the window and the indiana jones level pissed me off the only ones I could complete were bartman the itchy and scratchy stage and the one where you are inside barts bloodstream aarrgg this and virtual bart were the bane of my childhood video game existence I finshed virtual bart this one I will be stuck on forever whoever developed this game obviously was laughing with evil at us gamers
Zeldafreak5766 Could do all but the Indiana Jones ones. Forget that one lol
Oh my God, I used to play this in my PS2 with a cd that had thousands of retro games. Now I gotta install this in an emulator!
Orange door will forever be my favorite.
I've just notice that, every time Bart ends a level and get a page, he sings the "Mario Bros Theme". In the mega drive version this doesn't happen and just shows the page with the number. Have anyone else was aware of that little detail? (of course is all about copyright but it's nice to discover something new after all these years...
If you don't want to be stuck as fancy Bart, you can jump onto the dirt clouds to switch back to normal Bart
So nostalgic lol. I don't think I ever beat this game.
I like the whistling music when he's walking up and down the street, even better on magic shrooms.
This is avant garde, it's the dada of video games
Whoever made this though that earth didn't deserve good games
That whistle in baked into my brain
How can beat bart dinosaur walking stage? It is so difficult :(
It's bartzilla
such nostalgia
Con mi hermana nunca pudimos pasar este juego, siempre quise saber como terminaba xD

i used to play this game alot when i was little

So blessed i was born in 1986 so lived through the 1990s really awesome decade that was , maybe not as good as the 80s but damn close , things here in the UK went down the drain in the 00s and now in 2022 its really a very hard place to live as everything is too expensive , grime music is crap , we have no good Rock or Metal or Pop music now and its not what you know , its who you know , very sad state of affairs , can i please have a time machine back 30 years
Myself, being born in 80 I got to at least experience a good era while it was just ending.
I never completed this game as a kid, thought it was so difficult....
Wasn’t there music where Bart was singing “hey dude”??
