Longer videos please, please, please! I know a lot of work goes into these and the average person has the attention span of a toddler but I can not fall asleep to nature sounds in 8 minutes. Love what you do.
Just got done with a 10+ hour shift, and all I wanna do is listen to the wind in those pines .... aaallll ..... night lllloooonnng!!! You are my “Essence” Guru!!!
Absolutely stunning! This experience was special. The wind in the pines and the brilliant starlight sky was truly amazing. Thankyou Erik for all you do!
The sound of the wind in the trees was so clear, so wonderful. It brings STRONG memories/emotions of my childhood. I used to roam the forest/country around home and town by myself almost every day. From the time I was old enough to walk alone I'd be gone from morning till late evening... never got lost... often i would rest under a tree and listen to the wind as it went through the pines. Some times I'd day dream of being a mountain man back in the old days....it was a magical time for sure.... thanks Eric 😊
Another piece of pure art. Photography continues to be wonderful Erik. The cry of the fox woke our cat from her slumber !! Thank you so much for making the efforts you do to produce these wonder periods pf peace for us all.
Thanks for this excellent feeling which came from the video..The solitude is good for SOUL!Nice landscape..nice feelings..i think i feel the smell of the SNOW..
The night sky was quite a spectacle . The view from your site , you dont need any stimulant , just have to learn ow to fly , so fly on , Erik , never stop .
You’re a master at photography composition, sound recording, and editing it all into the most enjoyable packages. You’re a very talented person, and I look forward to every new video you release.
Hi Erik, you are really becoming famous, aren`t you? More than 30 thnd followers now, more than 300 or 500 thnd clicks on two of your recent videos, that is a strong feedback. Isn`t it strange and touching at the same time, having such a huge and thankful community from all over the world?
Amazing, as always! Noone can extract more poetry from the act of making a fire and a cup of coffee, repeatedly, than this man :). Photography, editing, sound, all perfectly judged. Erik should be winning prizes all over the shop. Greetings from Finland!
I think it unlikely, Erik. The way you reimagine them each time makes it a new experience, always. This one puts the bar pretty damn high, if you ask me! I do wonder if you’ve studied film-making somewhere. One tends to forget, watching your stuff, that this isn’t just you out in the wild (which would be quite enough xtobe getting on with for most of us) you’re also setting up every shot, maybe doing retakes, thinking the whole think through so it will edit together seamlessly. Plus the sound work, which is simply astonishing! I don’t always comment, but believe me I always watch and I always, always enjoy your offerings! More power to you :).
Så otroligt härligt att se dina videos från Sverige, saknar vår fina natur. Du inspirerade mig att starta min egna UA-cam kanal - Önskar dig en grym vecka!!
Hi Erik, I wanted to congratulate you on another wonderful piece of filmmaking. Everything you produce is so beautifully shot and the sound scape is top notch. I can watch your videos again and again. And in fact I do! I live in the edge of the greatest arid land on earth and I am very envious of the natural beauty of your environment. We can go for months here without rain, and it never snows. So it is very interesting to see you dealing with a much colder and wetter climate.
Erik your videos are one of my favorites...the “silence” PLUS the amazing scenery and sounds of nature give me WARM FUZZY FEELINGS...my kids love your videos as well and inspire us to adventure into nature and capture our own memories! Keep up the amazing work and THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO EXPERIENCE YOUR AMAZING ADVENTURES!!!
Another simple but great video. Lots of interesting camera angles (I appreciate the effort involved). Rocky outcrops, covered in sparse pine, overlooking frozen lakes remind me of where I live. Hey, your ravens are not as loud as they once were! :) All the best!
Thanks Kevin! These fire- and-coffee videos are quite fun to make, I try to do some variation and hope people don't get bored with them :) They are good kind of "in-between" videos. Now I'm going for a mountain trip for a few days. See you
Hello Erik, thank you for another beautifully filmed video. Your Nikon camera really captures the beautiful colors of the outdoors. Be safe out there and thank you again for this beautiful video. It's like a heavenly moment. 🤗
I'm binge watchng your vids. New subscriber here. Thanks Eric for sharing the nature of another side of the world with good quality of vid & sound. It's indeed beautiful & relaxing. In this vid i love the stargazing part so much. Greetings from Indonesia. :)
Another video filled with awesomeness. Is that a word? The sky and stars were amazing. By the way, I feel sorry for the 7 people that disliked your video. There is something wrong with them. Have a great weekend! ;)
Hi Erik, you are a really tough guy without Tarp and Shelter. I`m looking your videos for a while and love it very much. I whish you all the best, Siegbusch
Pretty cool how that one bird is always with you...must like the smell of coffee Erik Nordstrom....but who doesn't. Ah, the never ending terrain you have there.
Omg every time I watch your videos ( become my favorite time before bed ) it’s so relaxing And make my headache goes away Thank you ! And it makes me feel cooler It’s hot like oven in Thailand !
High Erik, i've taken you on my list. You are the only one with English language, but your pictures are so good and the sound is so excellent, that i must do it. Kindly Fiete
Thank you Erik...the snow isn't dry now...spring is coming here as well. I see you used a bivy bag on this one...ol Clint Eastwood didn't have one of those...😆 Be safe.... Andrew from moncton n.b Canada
The smell of old pine tree with lots of tar inside is one of the reasons why I go out hiking. We call it "tervas" here in Finland. Do you have a special Swedish word for it?
Cool, with that night sky, you could turn your channel into a part "outdoor" and part "hobby astronomy" channel with ease. :o) Nice day and video as usual.
Thanks for another great video. I noticed you use a Hults Bruk hatchet. Do you prefer the Almike 1lb or the Aneby 2lb I’ve been trying to determine your handle length but sometimes it looks like a 16inch and then in another video it looks closer to 20 inch. Thanks in advance .
Amazing video, always something to discover and learn, and just a great experience o watch your channel! I see that you used a bivy bag, would it be possible to know which brand/model it is and if you are satisfied with it? Thanks, looking forward to the next video !

I appreciate that Fiete, thanks!
Dear Erik, another short video of the beautiful life on earth. Go on ...
Erik, eres un valiente, durmiendo al raso en un vivac sin tienda de campaña, a la intemperie, en medio de un bosque helado.
Thank you Erik...the snow isn't dry now...spring is coming here as well. I see you used a bivy bag on this one...ol Clint Eastwood didn't have one of those...😆
Be safe....
Andrew from moncton n.b Canada
Thanks Andrew. Yeah I can't keep up with Clint! lol
👍👍👍
Erik, I hope you were warmer this camping trip!
Yes thanks, this time I was more comfortable.
The smell of old pine tree with lots of tar inside is one of the reasons why I go out hiking. We call it "tervas" here in Finland. Do you have a special Swedish word for it?
Indeed! Tjärved, or fetved are common words for it here.
@@erik_normark Thanks! Maybe the future technology will allow us to experience the smells in the videos too. That would be something... :-)
Cool, with that night sky, you could turn your channel into a part "outdoor" and part "hobby astronomy" channel with ease. :o) Nice day and video as usual.

Thanks Tammy. It's about 16 inch. Works very well!
Great video again erik. I would like to ask which kind of microphone do you use to capture such sounds? Thank you in advance. :)
