I was there in 07 standing right behind George Duke at that free convention center lobby concert he did with David Sanborn and Jeff Lob. It was awesome! Would love to go again!

@@cicholasnage Anybody can go if you can get a ticket which is very hard to do! It’s really meant for media/ music store owners & stars to yearly see what’s new in their field. It’s not meant for ‘star struck’ everyday folk to walk around trying to annoy, get a picture & autograph of anybody famous. It’s a serious sound/lights/music new technology vendor convention.
@@EzraBufford Yeah but the main thing though, im nowhere close to America haha. Im in Japan. I *will* one day travel there though. Music is on the rise right now, so many new icons are emerging, it'd be interesting to see things in person.
From this year, NAMM invitation was open to all. You had to self register for $150 and answer basic questions. No affiliation with any vendor or brand required.
