Chris, check the battery in that torch. I had one that did the exact same thing and it had a piece of plastic over one end of the battery to stop it turning on in the box. Pulled the plastic out and it worked prefect.

Them torches have warranty don't they. maybe it is a good thing it doesn't work, could swap it for one of them magnetic one like you have before which was red or green, so Archie could stick it to something and tilt it where he is working, rather than that ridged one?

Always preferred BPW axles for ease of repair and reliability, never keen on SAF. ROR are we’re ok too 👍

Lidl do knock-off Vaseline - I now keep a schmoo-pot of it close at all times for making stuff go together easier - it's less messier than grease, costs less than a quid a jar & EVERYTHING goes easier with a dab. Plus it doesn't muck up paintwork. You need vaseline in your life. Thank me later,.

why replacing discs ? rust ?
Yeah the insides corrode bad, I’ve seen a lot worse but there on form with it at that place mate 👌 and on them the pads seem to brake up making the discs worse.

She’s fine thanks Darren! Back to her happy self mate 😊, I just hit a round off multi splinted socket on it mate! The studs are not to tight on them luckily.
