- Here is a one year update many people have been asking for. So far the terrariums have done really well. I think this goes to show you dont need very complex layer systems for drainage to have success.

you are completely right, tropical mosses are the way to go for indoor terrariums.
Your local moss likes seasons, and can withstand long periods of dry or cold easily. I bet the dead moss would recover if you put it back outside, especially since it appears to have spored before shutting down.
Really appreciate the updates and seeing what works out and what doesn't!! 🍀🌿🌱
For sure thanks for watching!
I loveeeee your orchid terrarium so much , i know I have to do for new project now ! Thank you ❤
Nice! I hope yours is successful
I’ve found with some Wisconsin mosses that they go through a dormancy phase to get accustomed to terrarium life.
yeah seems to be the case, maybe i should have left it!
Wow! I'm an OG that actually likes this channel!
Hell yeah!
Can’t wait until you show off your aquarium room. Keep working on it.
Will do!
love the cute bugs too!! i'd love to give this a shot one day it would be cool to have some pet isopods to go with my plants lol btw your millipede might just be buried in substrate! throw a cucumber slice in there for him, see what happens
Giant millipede made me ILL
Lmao, I can handle millipedes its the big centipedes I'm not a fan of
u hurt millipedes feelings D:
Nice video Matthew. Please do more critters.
free the little creepers walking around👀
Those are isopods and they are keeping it in balance I think because they eat the leaf litter
They are beautiful! Congrats
Thank you
Both look stunning!
another stunning video thank you for going in depth with the update and showing everything from multiple angles !
Appreciate the kind words!
Great video!
I'm glad you mentioned that you will have a dedicated video of the whole build of the terrarium room build because I've been wondering why you haven't uploaded any videos of the build yet.
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Yeap! I'll try and do a halfway point maybe and a rock making video
Yay, finally new video
Yeap yeap, thanks for watching
maybe you could try aquarium moss in these closed enclosures
I’ve been wanting to try something like this. I need to go look for a death row jewel orchid.😂
gorgeous terrarium!
Looks Great!!
Thank you
Nice update! The containers are really cool looking 😎 I'm glad the orchids are doing so well!! The fact that you save plants from "death row" is admirable 😊 The terrarium looks beautiful!!💚💚 haha, skate park!😂
I should ride my skateboard off the ramp
Uh....NO!
I have an experience idea, try to dry anthurium seeds and plant them after, I search for the question and I didn’t find anyone talking about.
I will try it. Can I use A gracile?
