- An unfortunate exit from service at late notice for 34081 '92 Squadron' at Swanage for the Strictly Bulleid D-Day Preview on 6th June. The Battle of Britain class loco suffering from a broken ash tray/box which will hopefully be rectified before the gala starts properly on Friday.
See 34070, 34072 and the T3 in service with lots of other loco moves including a busy Class 33 and Gronk shunting around.
Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching.

I headed up the team that put the signalling in at Swanage. Before then we could only move one train at a time and when it left, all the points were locked until it came back! As the construction of the signalbox and installation of the signalling proceeded the chairman asked me nervously if we were making a rod for our own backs. Just looking at the amount of moves being made here in all directions under control of the signalling, I think the question has been well and truly answered!
Aahh man a broken ash pan, the NVR team had worked hard to try and get that rectified recently I'm pretty sure, hope its an easy fix. 🤞
Great video as always 👍
Great footage mate, hope you got back to Wembley in time, not so sure about the 1-0 defeat though!!
Desperate that was.. Should have stayed where I was! 🤣
@@trainsplanes 🤣🤦♂ fingers crossed the Serbia game goes a bit better on Sunday!
@@brunelheritage Big improvement needed 💯
I be going there on Saturday so I hope 34081 will be back in service by then.
It's fine now, it did end up working some services today.
