Awesome video! Loved how you just let everyone talk real quick explain a little then move onto the next thing! A lot of time people make expo videos and barely show anything and instead the UA-camr is talking the whole time.
Flares are neat, but is that the right height for the bikes under bed? If you had to raise the bed height 6 inches, you wouldn't fit your head in flare.
One thing I’ve noticed, is that most of these products are in California and the high cost of everything in California from regulations, taxes, wages are all making these vans and their options way too expensive! Some of this is caused by inflation, but these businesses need to think about moving out of California in order to survive! How much longer do you think people are going to to pay these kind of prices for these vans and their options?
Economies of scale make this stuff expensive more than any other factors. These businesses are located where there's terrain these products can be tested and the customers who will be using them; AZ, CO, CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, WA. It's the same reason why most MTB companies are out west and also why these Expos usually only have one event east of the Rockies which are held in NC, TN, VA area.
@@burddog0792 If you studied history and economics you would’ve noticed that as the dollar lost value everything was moved overseas to China, in order to get your products here for a lot less than they would be if you were still manufactured in the United States. Same reason that the auto industry move down to Mexico. This people are watching vans go from 150 K and upwards, most people are looking for an alternative. Putting this kind of tech and quality into vans that continue to get more expensive as well as their components for the interior build outs. At least for me it doesn’t make any sense to spend all that money that a house used to cost. At least in a house I can pass it on to my kids. These vans will become older and then what are you going to do, remove the materials and put them inside an electric vehicle? Insurance rates and E.S.G. will make these obsolete before you know it. Of course one can always delude themselves that they’re always be somebody you can afford these things, at least on a payment plan of 20 to 50 year payment plans. 🖖
Yes but compare the cost of renting vs owning. Renting 30 days a year at $200 a night is $6000 a year. Think how many years it would take to break even. Factor in the time it sets not being used, taxes, insurance, etc. If you're a full-time RVer that's different. Then it's a depreciating asset.
It’s insane to me that people build their vans so overweight that they need new springs and shocks because it sits on the bump stops! You are ruining the car and make everything unreliable and prone to failure. Especially tires, bushings and essential the whole drivetrain and suspension…😬
Such a good video! Thanks for stopping by!
Can't wait to watch this video!
Reminds me of the Van craze in the late 70s early 80s. I own too much stuff for this lifestyle, but they are definitely cool.
Thanks!

Just subscribed. $20 entry fee to see the vans.....wowza!
Wait..... how are you able to charge your phone in the van??
Two years later and still no mega flares for Sprinter 144. 🙄

Those rates for the rental vans are too dang high!
Holy cow you’re not kidding!
I agree! $425 a night is ridiculous!
