Went to one of their concerts recently where they supported The Ghost Inside and they debuted this song there. They put on a great show and had a commanding stage presence, been listening to them ever since!
Fucking love these guys! Was introduced to them with their song Ann Arbor (Be Safe) and I was hooked instantly. Glad you finally checked those dudes out. Cannot wait for a new album from them.
I've been listening to these guys for years glad to see they got picked up by Sharptone. Black Winter is one of my favorite songs by them. The breakdown slaps so hard.
Somehow I had never heard of Great American Ghost until Spotify recommended them to me a few months ago. I listened to their whole discography and I had been missing out. They bring together some modern core traits with hints of that chaotic metalcore that was big in the early/mid 2000s. Great, underrated band
holy shit o.O this reminds me of the band Frank Needs Help :D a very underrated band as well! you might like it 😊 love you man, i always discover new bands through your reactions! 🖤
Longtime fan of GAG here… when he started singing on Power Through Terror LP, he reminded me of a deathcore version of Chester.. in a good way. That’s the best part of their new melodic style. It never seems forced. They are still heavy as FUCK
That’s funny you mention Architects and Alluvial. Wes Hauch from Alluvial is a huge supporter of Niko (lead guitarist) and I’ve seen him wear a GAG shirt on stage. Also, GAG singer has said that fans ask him for singing advice and he says “just copy Architects and you’ll sound like me”
Not a whole lot of people have reacted to it, but Like Moths To Flames- Dissociative Being is pretty fucking gnarly. Bit on the slower side, but still gnarly. The drums are really good, if you pay attention. 🤘
My immediate thought went to Absent in Body - The Half Rising Man, but it was just the creepy old dude that made me draw lines to it. But the song is also cool, though its got a bit of a long intro.
Not sure if you know but All that Remains released a new song yesterday called Divine. With Shadow of Intents old drummer and Jason Richardson. You HAVE to react to it as a OG metalhead. Its really f****** good IMO
I like the song a lot actually, but the vocals just seem too loud in the mix for me. The guitars should be more present. But it almost sounds like it partially resolves halfway through the song. But then there's something going on with the pitch. I can't quite put my finger on it. The pick scrape and the vocals are riding through a pitch there that it hitting a similar frequency the just hits my ear wrong. But I still dig it.
@@galacticriminalx It's only fair to mention that I'm half deaf in one ear as well, so I want to listen in my earphones when I can. This is through my monitors.

Saw them open for TGI and they did a great job. They definitely gained a new fan that night.
I paused at 4:43 just to say I couldnt contain my laughter because of how dope and intricate all of this was. So much beautiful chaos
Been listening to this band since 2017 with their album Hatred Stems From The Seed

Their whole album “Power Through Terror” is an absolute masterpiece.

My immediate thought was Architects, but heavier and more creative. So pleased you picked up on that as well.

First thought weird Vocals. Next thought liking it. I will check them out. Thanks man
Hiden gem and a half, wow what a banger.
Vocals remind me of Chester from linkin park a bit but more aggressive obviously. I can dig it
