You are so inspiring. Once I found one your videos I just had to start from the beginning. Watching your videos makes me feel like I could get into UT and hang with no problems(also the same with living in Austin alone). I happen to live just about 3 and half hours away. Another reason I love watching you and your videos is the fact that you earn your way into the school and you take of care of yourself, instead of other girls that rely on many other things/people and feel like it's a joyful ride to them because they probably don't know what the ups and downs are.(hopefully that makes sense). basically, what I'm trying to say is that your "real".
Thx for the great advice. My daughter & her friend are attending in the fall and are looking for options for housing. Your knowledge of the apartment market would be useful. I think closer to campus would be bette4 being a freshman but if unit is close to bus route then that could be an option. She does have a car but she could also leave it at home if need be.
@@sick0delic639 I found a really nice apartment in west campus unfortunately it’s $847.50 a month :( that’s out of my price range so i’ll be moving from here next school year
Did you say from Riverside to UT is an HOUR commute? It looks so close! I was thinking about buying a tiny house to live in Austin on the cheap. Any thoughts on that, or am I being dreamy?
I love your videos and have watched basically all your UT videos hahaha!! I’m going to UT in the fall, so they’ve been super helpful. What’s your opinion on the DobieTwenty21 student housing?
Dobie is pretty decent but you will be paying a premium for a meal plan . It will basically be dorm-style living and for your first year it might be a good match. But if you look around the area at some of the other apartment complexes in West Campus, Northside, Riverside, etc... you might get more bang for your buck(room size)
Victor Torres Thank you so much! Yeah, my first year I definitely want that dorm-style, but after freshman year I’ll definitely look into those areas. Thank you!!
Sophia Rosenthal Yeah it‘s cheaper than staying in a dorm. Of course it really depends on the floor plan you choose, but for the Cash floor plan that I’m doing with my friends it was about $3,000 cheaper than living in Jester which is the cheapest dorm. Hope that helped!!
Great content and very nice video. As a graduate of Texas A&M I had to check this out and here is my best U.T. joke from an Aggie. Why to U.T. graduates carry their diploma in the car?.... it justifies the handicap sticker. Believe me, as an Aggie I know so many Aggie jokes, and of course, this joke would make perfect sense if you flipped it around and made it an Aggie joke. LOL. BTW, I watched and then subscribed. Hope this video helps with the real estate business. Keep up the good work! See you around the internet.
Block o Butter no, riverside is cheaper in rent and has a higher population of minorities than west campus so white people at UT call it ghetto. A lot of my friends live in riverside
@@LynetteAdkins Wow that's so interesting. Because my dad also called it the "dangerous side." And it made me wonder if he was equating "dangerous" to "a high minority population." So sad.

C.A.M this is so sweet, thank you so much! It’s totally possible as long as you find your footing ❤️ If you ever wanna talk hmu!
What is the best option for student apartments near Moody College? That would be great for a freshman and safe to get to and from school??

Can you use your financial aid on student apartments?
Unless otherwise stated, yes.
I have seen reviews of Rio West Apartment, and it is very mixed. What's your opinion of it?
What do you think of the Town Lake Apartments? Are they near campus or worth the price?
My teacher hated living there and I heard they have bugs

It's 15 mins in a car no traffic, but on a bus with traffic it can take up to an hour!
do you know anything about smart housing? it's something I've been hearing a lot about but honestly, i have no idea how it actually works.
Can financial aid cover room and board?
Jalen Gordon yes!

Do you still have the video where you explained what to look for when looking for apartments?
do you charge a fee for finding students an apartment if so what is the fee?
melissa Leon no it’s free!
Lynette Adkins what are your thoughts on the venue on Guadalupe/ have you heard good or bad things about this place
@@melissaleon8794 I have friends who live there and love it! It's a great location but is kind of pricey
I recently got admitted to the graduate of UTRGV
And as an international student I need to secure a room before my arrival 😊
I think it mentioned what to ask when you go on tours
What are your thoughts on the Callaway House?
it's overpriced! It's basically a dorm
How does students go to school then from Riverside or any apartments which are far from school? Because not everyone doesn't have a car!
you can get on the metro for free with your ID card
Hey, what’s your opinion on noble 2500 as an incoming freshman? Thank you
How can I find room for one semester? other than CL and FB?
I’m interested in something for my daughter. Possibly North Campus
Idk if ur gonna answer but if you get free tuition because your parent was in the Texas military, do you pay for apartments and dorms??
What about sky loft
